Even if we're to conclude that there is an American empire and that western powers haven't just been tools for the elites to wage war and drag our name through the dirt, America is declining and it would be a dying empire. I find it hard to believe that western decline is due to incompetent leaders, that seems like a real stretch at this point.

If I can find that kind of information then governments with all their resources and intel agencies surely know that diversity on this scale is not really a strength. The idea to me that Putin is trying to save the world from some evil western elites that just got a bit too power hungry is absurd to me because western elites haven't exactly been trying to make the West stronger. If that truly was the case and Putin is a good guy, where would western elites flee to after fucking up the West?
In regards to America's arsenal, can we be sure that it has been maintained properly?

I should add that I don't necessarily want a Western backed world order, but I don't want an Eastern one either. I support self-determination for all people. Naturally, I do want to survive though, and I live in the West so that kind of means I need the West to survive too. if Russian propagandists were right about who the puppet masters are then I would give them a chance, and if they didn't invade Ukraine and start threatening surrounding nations that are turning more Nationalist.
