A month ago I was on a flight returning to the UK and flying over Northern Italy, Venice, Treviso, I saw an aircraft, a white airliner, with a thick black contrail heading towards the direction of Slovenia. Then within 5 minutes a saw another 2 lone aircraft with thick black contrails heading in the same direction. The clouds/haze in the area were not white but a rusty brown colour. I don't have a smartphone and I did not have my camera with me to take photographs of what I saw. The contrails were like in this photo which I have found on the internet.
