It feels to me very much contrived, the riot police pulling back under a "light" attack, not really forced back, allowing that scene to happen and once enough damage was done for the media cameras, the same police line moves forward again. I believe it is all co-ordinated. I expect there is going to be blowback with this, further tightening of security restrictions in the US homeland, as part of the agenda, for the general population of gun owners and non gun owners.
