Unfortunately yes, those lorries were all being fueled up. But the Bailey was a wondeful little car. The big problems though were charging it and its speed. Some homes didn't even have electricity. Plus, it could only do 20mph in ideal conditions with no passengers. BUT, imagine where society would be now if they had developed it further instead of letting Bailey's go bust.

Yeah, this is just bits of ice from the airlock. The water vapour in the air sublimates and turns to tiny flecks of ice that gets ejected all over the place. You then have the Sun infrared heating it and the vacuum cooling it - makes the ice behave erratically.
