  3. Regarding the mention of Raoul Moat in the TalkTV clip above, I noticed that was July 2010, and on curiously checking the exact date - it was 3rd to 10th July! And ended in ‘suicide’
  4. Watched all of that, thanks 1velocity7. Interesting to see Sue Sims who headed up the hunt for Raoul Moat, and has had much media attention since that time in 2010. Your clip even mentions Gazza at the end. Remember that?! It all seemed like such a big cover up, but anyway … Today’s news made me feel immediate sympathy for the family, however the news itself is just full to bursting with the usual ‘repetitive’ words … and there are more questions than answers. And as usual none of the ‘folks’ asked to comment appear to have a mind of their own?! This is just one link that mentions Sue Sims and a sky podcast https://news.sky.com/story/amp/storycast-21-nobody-knew-what-raoul-moat-would-do-next-the-police-chief-who-led-the-uks-most-notorious-manhunt-12296685

  8. It’s all Liz Truss’s fault By Patrick Clarke on Jul 02, 2024 https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/so-its-all-the-fault-of-liz-truss/ Quote; “ Gove asserted that the Truss administration, and particularly the mini-Budget of her Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, had destroyed the Conservative Party’s reputation of being the party for ‘sound economic management’. Nothing to do with the billions wasted on the covid lockdowns, the discredited PPE contracts, paying people to stay at home instead of working and spending their earnings, businesses shut down and the rest of it. Nothing to do with the insane commitment to Net Zero. Nothing to do with the destruction of meritocracy that is the flipside of the obsession with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Nothing to do with the own goals of the sanctions imposed on Russia since the invasion of Ukraine which have had an immense impact on energy costs across Europe. Nothing to do with the insupportable level of mass migration during the last few years, placing intolerable burdens on public services including education, housing, transport and health. No, it’s all down to the 45 days of the Truss administration. “ End quote

She said that his death was “unexpected and shocking” as he was “healthy and active”. A cause of death has not yet been determined. However, the Orange County Medical Examiner said an autopsy has taken place, and his cause of death is pending toxicology results, according to Deadline. His death was also listed on the website of Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home in his hometown of Merritt Island, Florida.
  14. GB News Headliners Thursday 16th May 2024 Scott Capurro says; “This is a photo of the queen snatching flowers away from children who look quite terrified, she’s making jokes about Charles dying, it’s quite hard to read, but anyway there’s another story about taxes …”
  15. William was mentioned on the news; congratulating Aston Villa on twitter. When I looked I saw the thread is scattered with ‘Where is Kate’ questions and links, including this sort of thing
  16. Yes, that’s an interesting thought. Reminds me of Greta’s fire quote, and wild fires. Fire is a reset? I suppose red is significant. This has given the media something to talk about. Love it or hate it …
  17. Another interesting quote from the article above. Did the artist notice any obvious change in the man after he became King? Yeo says he's spotted "a physical change" in politicians he's painted in the past. "They physically look and feel different when they're in high office or out of it." Yeo adds the King "had already been gaining presence and stature by the time I started it, and it went up a level again when he became King, as you'd expect".
  18. Thanks 1velocity7. Interesting read. I cut a few quotes out of the article you shared. The vivid red work, measuring about 8ft 6in by 6ft 6in, is by Jonathan Yeo, who has also painted Tony Blair, Sir David Attenborough and Malala Yousafzai. "In history of art, the butterfly symbolises metamorphosis and rebirth," he explains, fitting for a portrait being painted of a monarch who has recently ascended to the throne. Yeo says it was Charles' idea … "He said 'what about a butterfly landing on my shoulder?'". The sittings ended before the King's cancer was diagnosed. " (He) didn't seem like someone who was physically exhausted". He was "in good spirits" ( That phrase us so overused )
  19. There was a long discussion about this ‘jab’ on the news this morning. It occurred to me, once again, that the use of the word ‘jab’ was ‘well taught’ / ingrained in the last 4 years, and now it can be slipped in anywhere and everywhere? They’re always selling something, always mixing fact with fiction, and feigning concern for the people. ( The amount of pills and injections that people are already on, especially the elderly. )
  20. GB News Headliners 10/05/24 @ 23:32 Cameron say’s government has stopped funding disinformation index Josh; This is about the website Unherd … Andrew Doyle puts a lot of information on there … They blacklisted Unherd … It turns out we’ve given them £2.6 million over the years … They’ve overstepped their narrative … Lewis Schaffer; “Why were the government giving them money?! “ … “ Rishi Sunak and the people that came before him can’t be trusted. “ “ They (Unherd) were coming out against Covid. They were one of the first people to come out against Covid … “
  21. Thanks, I like this one too, in 2023 from the same account;
  22. In the same article; “ Oak View Group, which owns the arena, has blamed defects with parts of its ventilation system for recent cancellations”. I wonder if that’s a new prevent Covid ventilation system?! Seems to me the UK’s biggest venue is still getting publicity, one way or another.
