It occured to me that having yearly flu shots in previous years might have 'prepared' those who have had them, to getting this 'virus'.
Just a thought but I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me if there is any data relating to those who have been 'confirmed' positive, how many of them have had flu shots in previous years.
I'm allergic to eggs and haven't had a flu shot, ever and no matter how I find myself myself avoiding getting the flu altogether.
I've had flu, twice in my life. Once in the '80's and then again in the late '90's/early 2000's. Both times I have had a few days in bed with Max paracetamol, glycerin, lemon and honey, and plenty of fluids. Since then flu seems to have avoided me like the plagues.
I have worked in charity shops in close contact with the general public at all times of the year and have remained healthy.
Or am I just imagining things?
