  1. Here's an ex-UN worker and one-worlder who promotes intuition: Hrund Gunnsteinsdottir She was named a WEF Young Global Leader in 2011. As a consultant, Hrund works regularly for the UN, specifically on gender and post-conflict reconstruction. Hrund was the program manager for UNIFEM in Kosovo and a statistician at the UNECE. Her TED speech: "Intuition helps us see the big picture," says filmmaker and sustainability leader Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir. Reflecting on her work at the UN, she outlines three ways innsæi (the Icelandic word for "intuition") can help humanity face our greatest existential threats — urging us to use our inner wisdom as a guide for essential change. (Recorded at TEDCountdown@BloombergGreenFestival on July 12, 2024) She is an Advisory council member at Yale’s International Leadership Centre, a Nordic Ignite Angel Ambassador, Yale World Fellow, https://hrundgunnsteinsdottir.com/

Susan Eisenhower More boring dot-connecting: She was a director at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, for which there is this Wikispooks entry: https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Carnegie_Endowment_for_International_Peace Eisenhower is on the emeritus board of the NTI (Nuclear Threat Initiative), which was founded in 2001 (just before 9/11) by former U.S. Senator Sam Nunn and CNN founder Ted Turner. Also on that board is Jessica T. Mathews, a former President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace; a trustee of the Rockefeller Foundation; a senior fellow at the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). https://www.nti.org/about/who-we-are/#tab-emeritus-board https://www.nti.org/about/people/jessica-mathews/ https://www.nti.org/risky-business/nti-seminar-susan-eisenhower-on-how-ike-led-the-principles-behind-eisenhowers-biggest-decisions/ In 2002, NTI partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) to create a $500,000 rapid response fund for infectious disease outbreaks.[14] Low-enriched uranium bank NTI supported the development of an international low-enriched uranium bank to help prevent the proliferation of nuclear technology.[6] NTI advisor Warren Buffett provided $50 million to jump-start the reserve, which is owned and managed by the International Atomic Energy Agency and located in Kazakhstan.[6] The bank became fully operational in October 2019 after receiving its first shipment of uranium.[7]

  6. Ervin Laszlo wrote "Humanity's Sacred Mission: Restoring Our Evolution to the Planet" (2024) with Charles Eisenstein and Suzanne Giesemann, foreword by Deepak Chopra and afterword by Kurt Johnson. Charles Eisenstein - On May 15, 2023, Eisenstein announced that he had taken an advisor's position in the campaign of then-Democratic (later independent) Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.[15] In that capacity, he participated in a fundraising event, held June 27, 2023, bringing together several prominent anti-vaccine activists, such as Mikki Willis, Sayer Ji, Del Bigtree, Sherri Tenpenny and Joe Mercola.[16] According to federal election filings, Eisenstein was paid as much as $21,000 per month for his services to the campaign.[17] After Kennedy dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Donald Trump, Eisenstein wrote: "I am not joining Donald Trump’s campaign, but if I have the opportunity to seed ideas into his mind, his message, his campaign, or his administration, I will do so. I would do the same for anyone in a position of institutional power. If such people are open to any element of the new-and-ancient story I serve, then I am available to meet them in their openness."[18] In subsequent articles, Eisenstein refused to confirm or deny whether he is "pro-Trump" or "anti-Trump."[19] As an activist, Eisenstein has been involved in the Occupy and New Economy movements. In other writings, he has also advocated for universal basic income.[32] Suzanne Giesemann ...is a spiritual teacher recognized on Watkins’ list of the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People. 8. This is going to sound overly critical, but the following Facebook post by Christianne van Wijk makes me wonder if the New Age movement is going to fragment society and make people too reliant on their inner faculties, not necessarily a good thing if we're not looking outwards, a bit like a person staring at their mobile phone rather than at the pedestrians around them. She wrote: I wasn’t sure if I was going to post this because I promised myself I was going to share less of my private life and more about bigger picture insights. However, sometimes the two overlap. I received a message this morning from a close friend who wondered if I was okay because she wasn’t hearing much of me. This isn’t the first friend to ask me that. When it comes to social mores, I’m probably the worst friend to have. I don’t contact people regularly and can be quiet for weeks on end. I have noticed though, that this has become worse in recent times. I had to ask myself: Why? When I really tuned in on it, I felt strongly that I have been moving away from this world. It feels as though I’m in a hot air balloon and I’ve been lifting off. Slowly but surely. Watching the world become smaller and smaller. There is a feeling of letting go. Of the stories, the dramas, the investment in outcomes. It looks more and more surreal. What a strange place we live in. All running around going somewhere. Where? Huffing and puffing for a goal. Why? Jeshua said "Life is a bridge. Don’t build a house on it”. Have I had enough? Am I depressed? Do I simply not care? No, it’s none of that. Quite the opposite. I feel a new found freedom I have never experienced before. I don’t have to be anyone. I don’t have to let my mind tell me things are bad or I should be afraid. I realise true freedom lies in letting go. ‘It’s ALL bollocks’ as David Icke famously says. All these rules and regulations. All these programs we don’t even know we have. Letting them unravel. Like taking layers off an onion. What remains is the core. The real you. Seeing through the illusions that have kept us imprisoned for so long. Through tired belief systems that no longer serve us and the world. A bare soul infused with spirit Ready to create new realities And break out of the limiting construct we have been so invested in. https://www.facebook.com/christianne.vanwijk Laura Eisenhower responded to her post - "Love this!! And love you!! I just deeply feel this and get it! Huge hugs!!"

  11. Varoufakis wants “techno-democracy": "The proposed alternative to the current technofeudalistic framework is “techno-democracy,” which would involve the collective ownership of technology and its benefits. "This means empowering individuals to take control over their contributions to digital capital and ensuring fair distribution of resources generated by technological advancements. "The transition towards this vision hinges on collective political movement rather than merely technical or governmental regulations. The necessity of grassroots activism and global collaboration is emphasized in reshaping how technology serves humanity." https://ai950.wordpress.com/2025/05/14/yanis-varoufakis-exposed-how-tech-lords-enslaved-humanity/ Human Rights Watch ask the question: Where Are the Techno-Democracies? The U.S. government should devote resources to experiment with bolder proposals, such as technological systems that can have a positive impact for democracy. The American nonprofit New Public has urged governments to develop “digital public spaces”—publicly owned online spaces designed to maximize public goods, for people to “talk, share, and relate without those relationships being distorted and shaped by profit-seeking incentive structures.” https://www.hrw.org/news/2022/10/18/where-are-techno-democracies So, who are New Public? A Co-Director is Eli Pariser, who is "...an author, activist, and entrepreneur focused on how to make technology and media serve democracy. He helped lead MoveOn.org, co-founded Avaaz.org (now the world’s largest citizen’s organization)" https://newpublic.org/team https://newpublic.substack.com/p/what-digital-spaces-can-do-for-democracy "Avaaz is an ally, and a rallying point, for the disadvantaged everywhere." according to Zainab Bangura , the Director General at UNON (UN Office at Nairobi) and previously an Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations. The Founding CEO of Avaaz, an online activist network, was Ricken Patel. Patel was voted "Ultimate Gamechanger in Politics" by the Huffington Post,[3] and listed in the world's top 100 thinkers by Foreign Policy magazine.[4] He was also named a Young Global Leader[5] by the World Economic Forum, referred to as "the global leader of online protest" by The Guardian[2] and listed as one of People Magazine's most eligible bachelors.[6] Patel studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Balliol College, Oxford. In 2013, The Guardian referred to Avaaz as "the globe's largest and most powerful online activist network" and called Patel "the global leader of online protest."[2] Eli Pariser is an Omidyar Fellow at the New America. He is also one of the 25 leading figures on the Information and Democracy Commission launched by Reporters Without Borders.[18] Another New Public co-Director is Deepti Doshi - As a Director at Meta (previously Facebook), Deepti helped establish the New Product Experimentation team and created the Community Partnerships team. She co-founded Haiyya, India’s largest community organizing platform. "...two of the biggest funders of her organization, Haiyya, are one of India’s largest investment bankers and one of its biggest tech entrepreneurs. "What she is applying is community organizing theories and best practices learned at the [Harvard University] Kennedy School, where she earned a midcareer master’s in public administration and was influenced by Marshall Ganz, who is credited with designing President Barack Obama’s 2008 field campaign." https://magazine.wharton.upenn.edu/digital/uprisings-and-the-wealth-of-nations/ Doshi is a TED Fellow and an Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow and Ideas Scholar.

  14. More on The Lifeboat Foundation One of their Existential Risk programs is ClimateShield Overview We support investigations into climate change such as the Glacsweb program led by our Scientific Advisory Board member Kirk Martinez which monitors glacier behavior using sensor networks. We also support attempts to develop control over the weather, including the problems of droughts, hurricanes, and tornadoes. Goals We propose installing a comprehensive planetary weather and climate control system. We would start small, as with regional rainmaking, tornado dissipation, hurricane steering, and so forth, and move up to orbiting solar shadescreens/reflectors for insolation control, global rain scheduling and hydrosphere management, skysweeper nanorobots to remove particulates from the air (or install them, to control planetary albedo), etc. This system would allow control of glacier melt/freeze rates and allow atmospheric greenhouse management, thus completely solving global warming. It would allow us to regulate seasons locally. It would allow us to clean particulates out of the air caused by a supervolcano eruption, a modest asteroid strike, or a nuclear war. Indeed, it would protect our current climate from any sort of sudden change. https://lifeboat.com/ex/climateshield Another shield is AIShield Overview To protect against unfriendly AI (Artificial Intelligence). Consequently, we support initiatives like the Friendly AI proposal by the Machine Intelligence Research Institute (MIRI). We believe that a key element of Friendly AI is to construct such AGIs with empathy so they feel our pain and share our hopes. What to do if the first AGI is not designed to be “friendly” 1) Why the first AGI is unlikely to be Friendly AI. Ensuring that the first AGI is also Friendly AI is very difficult as it seems quite possible that self-awareness will occur spontaneously in an AI program as opposed to an AI being carefully planned to be self-aware. So, for example, due to some synergic interactions of complex subsystems, e.g. within the internet, an AGI may be accidently created. Even if it was somehow possible with our primitive tools to design self-awareness into an AI, it is worth noting that the vast majority of AI under development is not being designed to be Friendly AI so we need to be prepared for the first AGI to not be inherently “friendly”. 2) What we should do about AGI that isn't designed to be friendly. We must be careful to not treat AGIs as slaves. They must be treated as having equal rights to humans. If we don't give them equal rights then they will be less inclined to give us such rights once they have passed us in ability. We should also frequently query more advanced AIs and check to see if they are showing any signs of becoming self-aware so we aren't unnecessarily cruel to such an entity. For example, if the first AGI was based in a sexbot, such an entity could feel that “she” was being treated as a sex slave, etc. It would even be worth treating less intelligent animals more humanely to provide an example for AGIs to follow. For example, the conditions animals are subjected to under factory farming could be improved. https://lifeboat.com/ex/aishield

"And yet… today, I find myself invited to stand alongside national leaders and grassroots visionaries as part of a revolutionary initiative to Make America Healthy Again. The same truths that once got me silenced are now being echoed—loudly, clearly, and federally—in a national commission report. This feels profound. Not just personally, but symbolically. 21. Dodging ones’ Karma and entering a dream world both feature in The Simpsons episode "How I Wet Your Mother". Homer Simpson displays a psychosomatic symptom, so with the help of the inventor Professor Frink he infiltrates his own dreams in a bid to discover the problem’s subconscious source. The plot spoofs the 2010 sci-fi film Inception.[1] about a professional thief who steals information by infiltrating the subconscious of his targets. My ears pricked up when I heard the words, “You are garbage made flesh”, uttered by an angry Carl to fellow worker Homer after Homer sneakily manages to evade the mass punishment dished out to the workforce by their boss, Mr. Burns, thereby dodging his karma, so to speak. Burns: “Now, Simpson, how is it that you alone managed to keep your moral compass pointed to true north?” Homer: “Well, sir, before I do anything, I stop and ask myself: "What would Jesus and Mr. Burns do?" Carl: “You are garbage made flesh!” Equating flesh with garbage and - by extension - with Jesus reminded me of the old religious/occult view that flesh is sinful and rejected by God, so is garbage in effect. Jesus is also rejected and inhabits a body of flesh (‘incarnate’). I reckon that physical matter, especially biological flesh, is karma made manifest, but it’s the karma of the creator of this universe (who is us!!!) Homer misunderstands karma. “I can't believe you got all your friends in trouble, and you got the day off!” Homer: “Hey, it's called karma.” Lisa: “Isn't karma where if you do something bad, bad things happen to you?” Homer: (chuckles) “A common misconception.” In his dream Homer is told: “... you do not yet understand the meaning of karma.” Homer: “But isn't karma just an expression of the dharma?” “That is beside the point, okay? If something bad is happening to you, it must be because of something you did to others.” Homer: "Deep down, I must be feeling guilty about getting my friends in trouble! And my problem won't stop till I make things right with them!" The physical human body is described by the Kabbalah as a shell (Kelipah or Kelipat) created by God. Literally, Kelipah means a “peel” or “shell,” as in the peel of a fruit. "Kelipat" refers to a spiritual layer or shell that can obscure divine light and prevent spiritual growth. It's often described as a "peel" or "shell" that can temporarily block access to the divine fruit within. God’s first created human is Adam, made from dust, who ends up being rejected/exiled. Jesus feels rejected whilst on the cross. "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?" is a phrase that appears both in the Old Testament or Hebrew Bible, in the Book of Psalms, as well as in the New Testament of the Christian Bible, where they appear as one of the sayings of Jesus on the cross, according to Matthew 27:46 and also Mark 15:34. The Biblical Jesus is described as the rejected stone that is later transformed by God to be the chief cornerstone. Psalm 118:22 “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” (King James Version: “The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.”) Is this hinting that karma (or the karma of someone specific) is the building block of our universe? The cornerstone could be the Philosophers’ Stone: In alchemy, the prima materia is the foundational, primitive substance from which all matter is formed and is the starting point for creating the philosopher's stone. It's often described as a formless, undifferentiated state, similar to chaos or the quintessence, and is seen as the source of all things. Also rejected by God is Lucifer, who shares similar features with Jesus, e.g. both are ‘light bringers’ and ‘the morning star’; both descend from Heaven down to Earth. The first reference to the ‘morning star’ as an individual is in Isaiah 14:12: “How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!” (NIV). The KJV and NKJV both translate “morning star” as “Lucifer, son of the morning.” Isaiah is referring to Satan’s fall from heaven (Luke 10:18). So, in this case, the morning star refers to Satan. In Revelation 22:16, Jesus identifies himself as the morning star.
