I worry for the future of my generation! What will the world look like when I'm in my 50's? Is there really any point in going on?

I raise the question, "Are you going to live in fear for the rest of your lives?" That ussually shuts them up. It's kinda sad looking back how alot of us thought it'd all be back to normal by the summer! Hey folks, I'm a newish member to the forum and this thread caught my eye! I'm an only child living with my parents, they have been completely brainwshed by the media into fearing the Moronic varient. To give you a better insight into what I mean, we get the shopping delivered and they get a table set up in the garage and wipe every single item down with a solution of warm water and bleach. They also use gloves to pick up post etc... I'm quite lucky in the sense that I can drive therefore theres always and escape route if it gets to much! I haven't got any close family who I interact with so my Mum and Dad are the main people in my life. Whenever I try to explain to them my concerns about not having the jab I always get given the guilt trip of "what if you died, that'd be me and your dad finsihed"! I thought I was getting somewhere when the Tory christmas party was leaked, but no, back to square one with "wear a mask" etc. I don't know how much more I can take of this pure insanity, I'd love to get talking to others in the same position as me and I bet there's loads out there who have it alot worse than me. So in that sense I should think myself lucky that I can get out whenever I can, but still....

I live in the West Midlands myself and I know first hand how crap the public transport is! The West Mids is the new London, cycle/bus lanes everywhere! They've made Hlaf of Lichfield Street, Wolverhampton into a cycle lane! Stupid right...

You say move onto public transport, what public transport? Over the past few years us country folk have seen tons of bus routes cut leaving many stranded. A strategy to get people to move into the cities?

I heard that we will have completely eliminated petrol/diesel cars by 2030, bit soon is it not? I thought it was like 2040 when we will stop using diesel/petrol cars?

I reckon once Lizzie passes on this will all come into force, as far as Britain is concerned anyway!

Hi guys, this my first actual post on this forum other than on the welcome thread so please excuse me if anything I post has already been discussed! Anyway, let's cut to the chase, is it me or have they started pushing climate a hell of a lot more since the 'Covid era' began? I didn't notice it as much before, yes we learnt about it in school but that was all you really heard about it other than the ocasional 'Low emmisions' transport news.... It seems to be promoted everywhere now! On trains, buses, soaps etc
