She was worried that teenagers were being assessed too quickly and that treatment plans were being influenced by transgender rights groups.
Her fears were not made public at the time, however, and for a number of years few questions were asked about the soaring number of referrals the clinic was receiving, except by concerned parents’ groups led by Stephanie Davies-Arai.

Bob's as you say, excellent cartoon, also reminds me that although someone is trying to stir up a hornets nest, we need to remember what is real, what is important, and surround ourselves with as much of it as possible.
Maybe we do need a reset of sorts. We need to think back to when things were more right, more normal, with less outside influence and interference. It wasn't that long ago, was it? (Ok it was) If we believe in their version of reality, we've lost our vision. If we are behind a wall, we remind ourselves what is on the other side of the wall. If we were in a prison we would aspire to staying mentally and physically strong. If the sky is grey we picture the blue sky above it. It's bloody hard sometimes, but all is not lost, especially while there are good people on our side.
