  1. Many thanks for your replies. Luckily I told my employer that she had tested positive for covid and my employer said that should I show symptoms I would need to self isolate. Luckily I haven’t had any symptoms. I told my manager that I was told to self isolate and they asked if I was showing any symptoms… and as I wasn’t it was decided that I should go to work.
  2. Hi everyone. Been a lurker for many years and was signed up to the old forums but lost my login. Anyways Hello… I have a question… My wife is a school teacher for year 1 and reception class. She tested positive for covid 19 and is now in isolation. Now the nhs have asked her for details for track and trace and that I should self isolate as I haven’t been vaccinated. My work will not take to kindly to me having to take time off as I’m not vaccinated. I’m not sure how to handle this situation as I don’t want to explain why I don’t want to be vaccinated and they may not pay me for being off work. I was thinking of going to work as my wife is keeping herself isolated and I’m obviously showing no symptoms but track and trace might then start pinging people I work with as it will be perceived that I’ve been into contact with someone who has tested positive. So others will be advised to isolate making me look like the bad guy. I’m feeling pressured into getting the vaccine because of this. What’s the Best course of action? thank you.
