There are still lots of white people playing white characters on the stage, Mac, so no need to get too emotional. There's still plenty on the stage to keep you happy and you don't even have to look hard. When was the last time you went to see a good quality play, anyway? All this talk about "replacement" is over the top being too emotional.

You want to be politically correct, but like i said, I don't play that game because I'm happy to see a white person play a black character like Othello. I'm not woke, but you are. You want to be politically correct. You whinge and whine about cultural appropriation. I don't. As far as race relations are concerned, I would tell my children things have never been better. I remember what things were like in the 1970's. They're much better now. You want to go back to how things were in the past.

You're talking about casting but even here, if you just want to focus on that, I see nothing wrong with a black lady playing the role of white character like Anne Boleyn. By your logic, then, it would also be wrong for a white person to play great black role, such as Othello in Shakespeare's play, but that would be absurd and only bowing to the political correctness crowd, which I suspect you are a closet member thereof. Regarding singing technique on its own - singing technique has nothing to do with skin colour. A person doesn't have to be white to sing a top C, for example.

Perhaps you remembered it wrongly. If you quote anything I'd said that promotes identity politics, I'd like to see it, but it's not something you'll be able to find because I've never identified with any label. Even as a singer, i don't adopt labels. Labels are for pigeons. I always try to present a balanced picture. If I mention white on black prejudice, I'm always happy to say that it can be the other way round, so no, I don't make capitalise out of racial abuse. Racial prejudice and abuse is wrong, period.

I was asked if I was ever a victim of abuse because of the colour of my skin. If I'd have said no, I'd be lying. Did you want me to lie? And btw, I've experienced abuse from both whites and blacks, but the vast majority of black and white people are not like that. But I don't play the victim card and use it for any political agenda or to blame an entire race that I don't like. I like all races, and see people for what they are by their character rather than what their skin colour is.

It's not surprising Moses learned the wisdom of the Egyptians, he was brought up as an Egyptian, but as he grew older, we was directed by God. Btw, where did I say I don't read what I don't like? You accused me of that, but I'd like to know where you got that from, thanks. Rob
