  1. "Russia was ready to end the war and withdraw its troops in exchange for Ukrainian neutrality just a few months after the invasion began and was refused partly because of ex-British PM Boris Johnson, who pressured Kyiv into continuing the fight, David Arahamiya, the leader of Ukraine’s ruling party confirmed in a recent interview, published on Friday, November 24th.

The lawmaker is not only leading the parliamentary faction of Zelensky’s Servant of the People party but was also appointed as the head of the Ukrainian delegation during the initial, tentative peace talks in March and April, hosted by Turkey.

Russia’s ultimate goal was to press Ukraine into neutrality, Arahamiya explained, adding that all other requests (like the elusive ‘de-nazification’) were essentially empty cosmetics, and neutrality would have been enough for Russia to agree to withdraw beyond the February 24th frontlines.

"They [Russia] were ready to end the war if we took neutrality—as Finland once did—and made commitments that we would not join NATO. This was the key point."

According to Arahamiya, there were several reasons for Ukraine’s refusal, and one of them was direct Western influence on the peace talks.

The lawmaker recalled that while the negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow were underway in Istanbul, Johnson unexpectedly arrived in Kyiv on April 9th, 2022, telling Zelensky that he "shouldn’t sign anything with them at all—and let’s just fight."

Something I don't understand is why many people say that any talk of Russia being "balkanised" is "Russophobic", yet the same people support the idea of the UK being carved up into Scotland, Wales, even Cornwall and Yorkshire becoming independent countries, and accuse England of being a colonial occupier even of Scotland and Wales.

Yet Russia occupies huge amounts of land and resources of people who are not ethnically Russian or even Slavic, and yet no one calls this "colonialism" on Russia's part. This strikes me as a glaring double standard.

It's frequently said that the British government profiting from the North Sea oil is an example of colonial theft from the Scottish people by the English, yet I've never heard anyone argue that the oil Russia profits from on lands that are not natively Russian is also colonial theft, it's just called "Russian oil".

This is an interesting topic I hadn't thought about before. In some regions and countries of the UK people are fed up of being governed by the London elites. The brits themselves voted to leave the EU and more EU countries would do the same if they were allowed to. The US blew up Europe's supply of cheap energy, but the Canadians would rather be part of Europe than part of North America.

When you look at Russia, things are moving in the opposite direction. The people of Crimea longed to be part of Russia for 25 years while the West ignored their referendum. Now their dreams have come true and other regions of Ukraine have followed them. Hungary and Slovakia get on better with Moscow than with Brussels, and Rumania would be the same if the courts hadn't retrospectively banned the candidate who won the elections. African countries would rather do business with Wagner than with their former colonial masters, and countries from around the world are queuing up to join BRICS and be part of multi-polar world where the anglos can't close your government's bank accounts and steal the money to fund their wars.

    Very interesting.

I care about all lives. And you're argument is just another "satanic" attempt to make the reader on this forum pick a side to fight whatever politician, in this case one you're probably having problems with yourself (bojo).

The thing is Satan doesn't care on what side you are , as long as you are on some side ,fighting some other side. He just wants you mad, and fight other people , hoping you draw in others , to feed him/them the negative energy.

It has nothing to do with BoJo , but with you, your inner self. Once you look within and fight the spirit that causes your anger , or practice in letting go, you will start to experience relief, and change.

I made this mistake too for years of my life , to project my unease on external causes. And something odd happened. Sometimes when I resolved the inner cause, through change of perception, the external things sometimes got resolved too in the real world. Not always though, because there are dark forces in this world who just want to consume/destroy but at least I recognize them and don't allow them to manipulate me to the point of bitterness or into becoming their puppet or 'slave'.

As for Russia: there are massive satanic forces influencing the Russian Federation but there are many many many good and decent quality Russian citizens..you can say children of God , and of course we hope for a "great awakening" in Russia too. Their children don't need to be living in fear, controlled and monitored by Nvidia CCTV artificial intelligence and facial recognition systems on the streets of Moscow. Or worse , young Russians sent to Ukraine just to die for Moloch and satisfy occult powers.

Let's just hope they will have a spiritual uprising the same way the USA civilians have become aware.. But we're not there yet. Twisted politician powers always seek to copycat and infiltrate any benign spiritual movement, turning it into some political terrorist organization for greed, power and control. Just like how every church will eventually become corrupted.

All we really can do is to not engage in fights, because the real fight is within, and offer knowledge, spread awareness in a nonviolent and peaceful way.

Boris needs your support in the coronavirus mega-thread. Yesterday he was accused of locking down the country fraudulently several times. A truly satanic accusation that makes my questions look innocent in comparison.

  4. Who are the secretive Pilgrim Society and what influence have they had on the US and British Empire Relations? Todays Pilgrim Society is headed up by King Charles III who is also the driving force behind the World Economic Forum and its Club of Rome Human Caused Climate Change agenda. Add to this that only Great Britain and the US are supporting the genocide by Israel currently taking place in Gaza, you begin to piece together an anti human agenda of biblical proportions, and the Pilgrim Society continue to play an important role in this agenda. 5. This article links Harborne to the Pilgrims Society, Turning Point, and people who have turned against Turning Point.

"Harborne has donated £1 million to Boris Johnson’s private company in 2022 and over £13.7 million to Nigel Farage’s Reform UK. These funds supported Johnson’s October 2025 trip to Ukraine, where he and Harborne met Ukrainian leaders to advance British-Ukraine policy. This connects to Pilgrims Society members Fiona Hill (former Trump NSC Russia expert) and Air Marshal Jock Stirrup (current Pilgrims Society president), who support Western actions against Russia. The Pilgrims Society, founded in 1902 by Rothschild, Milner, and Rhodes to establish a new imperial one-world government including annexing America back into the British Empire (as detailed in “Lillian Scott Troy: She Unmasked The British Pilgrims Society Plot to Annex America” by Michael T. McKibben), uses such networks to leverage U.S. resources for British and EU goals, including influencing Russia policy.

Harborne’s support for Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage, linked to a plethora of Pilgrims Society figures, indicates interlocking relationships. The principle of ongoing leverage—once linked, always linked—applies, with shared interests ensuring continuity. This network, supported by the Crown’s golden share, threatens U.S. sovereignty by directing American resources toward British-led geopolitical objectives against Russia.

QinetiQ’s American Origins: Formed with Carlyle Group funds and directed by Glenn Youngkin (current Virginia governor), George Tenet (former CIA Director), and Giambastiani (former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chief’s of Staff), QinetiQ’s structure relied on U.S. input, controlled by the Crown’s golden share from inception, breaching sovereignty.

Harborne’s Role: His QinetiQ stake and funding (e.g., Boris Johnson’s Ukraine trip, Nigel Farage’s Reform UK) direct U.S.-derived benefits to British interests. Will we next see TP-UK connections with Harborne (Turning Point UK) bankrolled by Rothschild-linked metals Baron Michael Farmer, whose son George married Candace Owens who co-founded TPUK?

Pilgrims Society Interlocks: Fiona Hill (Trump-Russia hoax, and Air Marshall Baron Jock Stirrup’s (the Keeper of the Sword of State) involvement as current president of the British Pilgrims Society, with Harborne’s funding, shows coordinated use of U.S. power for British/EU aims."

  7. Searching for "boris harborne qinetiq 2025", I can't find a single mainstream news outlet that has reported on the recent Guardian article. There were media reports in 2023 about the donation itself and it seems like the only new information in the Guardian story is that Harborne accompanied Boris to high-level meetings in Kiev as an advisor when Boris was no longer prime minister.

In January 2023 the BBC and the New Statesman focused on his bankrolling of the Brexit campaign. Neither of these two articles mentioned his connections to the arms industry.

Only left-wing independent media organisations talked about his investments in QinetiQ.

A week after the BBC article was published, openDemocracy emphasized the revolving door between politics and the arms industry, and they pointed out that Ben Wallace worked for the company before he became an MP. Defence Firm Part-Owned By Boris Johnson’s £1m Donor Wins £80m MoD Contract

Christopher Harborne is the largest single shareholder in QinetiQ, which announced a lucrative government deal this week

    Jim Fitzpatrick

    19 January 2023, 11.00pm

The man who gave a record £1m donation to Boris Johnson is the largest single shareholder in a UK defence company that secured an £80m government contract this week, openDemocracy can reveal.

Christopher Harborne, a Thai-based businessman and multi-million-pound donor to the Brexit Party and the Conservative Party, made the £1m donation to the Office of Boris Johnson Ltd, a company controlled by the former prime minister.

The donation was made in November and listed on the MPs register of interests last week. It’s believed to be the biggest donation to an individual MP in UK history.

In recent months, Harborne has been building a stake, through companies he controls, in the major UK defence company QinetiQ, and is now the single biggest shareholder, owning more than 10% of the company with a holding worth £193m.

On Monday, QinetiQ announced that it had secured a ten-year IT contract with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) worth £80m.

The company, which employs almost 5,500 people in the UK across several sites, is a major government contractor and was once part of the MoD before it was privatised and floated on the stock exchange in 2006.

One of its biggest government contracts to date is a £2.5bn agreement signed with the MoD in 2018 to provide engineering services over a ten-year period.

Its UK business turned over £960m last year and it had total global revenues of around £1.3bn. In its November trading statement, QinetiQ reported orders up 18%, revenue up 12% and underlying operating profit up 39%.

Among its range of products, the company is developing military robots and laser technology. Like many defence companies, it has seen an increase in sales since the start of the war in Ukraine.

    Defence secretary is ex-employee

Defence secretary Ben Wallace worked for QinetiQ as its overseas director in the security and intelligence division for two years until his election to Parliament in 2005.

A Ministry of Defence spokesperson told openDemocracy that defence contracts such as QinetiQ’s latest are awarded through a legal tendering process, and a system called “Defence AWARD” that sets rules for how they are evaluated and granted.

Contracts are awarded in accordance with Defence and Cabinet Office regulations, with any conflicts of interest declared through the usual process,” they added.

A QinetiQ spokesperson said: “QinetiQ works with numerous democratically elected governments across our core markets. In the UK, defence is a cross-party topic. We do not make donations to UK political parties or comment on any donations our significant shareholders might choose to make.”

Green Party peer Natalie Bennett said the interlinking of private contractors and military operations “at the deepest level” was cause for “the highest level of concern”.

She added: “We have a huge problem with lack of trust in politics. And the emergence of tightly interlinked ties – and political donations – like these is hugely damaging to public trust.

We need to end all big money donations in politics, so we don't simply get the politicians that multinational companies and the rich pay for. And end the revolving door between industry and politics.”

£15m to Boris Johnson, Conservative Party and Reform UK

Harborne’s £1m donation to Boris Johnson matches two £500,000 donations he made to the Conservative Party in February and May last year. He had previously given £13.7m to Reform UK, formerly the Brexit Party, and an initial £300,000 to the Conservative Party prior to that.

The Office of Boris Johnson Ltd, which received the £1m donation, is a company set up by the former PM in October last year. Its filings at Companies House are sparse, but show that Johnson himself is the sole shareholder and the “person of significant control”.

Harborne has business interests in aviation fuel and crypto trading. He lives in Thailand where he is also known as Chakrit Sakunkrit and is understood to have both UK and Thai citizenship.

His stake in QinetiQ is owned through a company called Klear Kite LLC, registered in Delaware in the US.

There has been speculation that the £1m donation to Johnson is intended to fund his potential return to the leadership of the Conservative Party. Johnson and Harborne were contacted for comment, but did not respond.

In October 2023 Novara Media published figures to show how investors in the arms industry are making a killing at the expense of taxpayers who are subsidising the research.

Revealed: Tory Superdonor Makes Millions From Government Handouts to Arms Trade

    A story of ‘corporate welfare’.

    by Andrew Kersley

    31 October 2023

A Tory superdonor is making millions of pounds from defence contracts handed out by the government in an example of “corporate welfare”, Novara Media can reveal.

Christopher Harborne, the lead shareholder of little-known defence giant QinetiQ, has made at least £15.5m in political donations since 2001 – £1.8m to the Conservatives and the rest to the Reform Party (formerly the Brexit Party).

The financier and businessman who repeatedly features in the Panama Papers leak, also set a record in November last year when he donated £1m directly to former Prime Minister Boris Johnson according to the electoral commission, reportedly the largest amount ever donated to any individual politician.

QinetiQ has previously faced controversy, having secured contracts from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) worth billions. Critics have questioned the link between big money political donations and massive government contracts.

But how has this arrangement been working out for Harborne? Pretty well, it seems.

Company accounts reviewed by Novara Media reveal that the Thailand-based serial investor earned £4.4m in income from QinetiQ dividends last year alone.

Government data also reveals that of its £9.82bn revenue over the last decade, the company made £5.67bn from contracts awarded by the MoD – 58% of its total revenue.

This is bound to raise further questions about government subsidies for the arms trade. Recent research by think-tank Common Wealth discovered that arms giants were “supported by the state in a way no other sector is” through government handouts.

That support covered as much as 90% of private defence firms’ research and development budgets, which they use to develop products that they then sell to the MoD at a profit.

The firms have then made record payouts to private shareholders, while making billions of pounds of weapons sales to members of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations Gulf dictatorships like Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Professor Anna Stavrianakis from the University of Sussex, an expert on the global arms trade, warned that the findings were a “story of corporate welfare and the further erosion of British democratic politics.”

The British state uses taxpayers’ money to subsidise QinetiQ, and then pays the company billions of pounds for its services, generating huge dividends for QinetiQ’s shareholders,” Stavrianakis added. “British taxpayers are in effect paying for wealthy individuals to exercise influence over British parliamentary politics.”

QinetiQ used to be the publicly-owned research arm of the MoD before it was privatised back in 2006. Since then, the firm has become a gold mine, paying out over £500m to shareholders in the last decade.

In fact, it has proved so profitable for shareholders that within two years it is expected to have paid out more in dividends than the MoD sold it for. That lack of value for money was actually predicted by government auditors just a year after the Blair government chose to make the move, who argued that “greater proceeds could have been secured” for taxpayers.

A spokesperson for QinetiQ told Novara Media: “We are proud of the role we play protecting lives by serving the national security interests of our customers.

Is there a super-injunction on the story?

  8. Boris's rebuttal is about as convincing as when he accused anti-vaccine campaigners of 'spouting mumbo jumbo'.

In an extraordinary statement to the Guardian when asked about his relationship with Harborne, Johnson said: “Your pathetic non-stories … seem mostly to be derived from some illegal Russian hack job. You should be ashamed of yourselves.” Distributed Denial of Secrets (DDoS), the US-based transparency group that obtained the leaked files, said it did not know their provenance.

Johnson added: “Why don’t you just change your name to Pravda? Your stories are rubbish and you are doing Putin’s work.”

This is why nearly every government in the world implemented the covid protocols that were created by the Nudge Unit in Downing Street. At the time, the talking heads in the media said it was a case of governments copying each other rather than a global conspiracy. One of the few exceptions was Belarus. Andrew Tate said he was partying there every night while everywhere else you could only walk your dog once a day. When you hear stories about Lukashenko jailing opposition leaders, it's probably because he knows they're working for Soros.

Recent WikiLeaks disclosures have exposed a staggering level of financial involvement by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in global media operations. The leaked documents reveal that USAID has invested $472.6 million in the Internews Network, a global NGO that claims to support independent media. This investment represents a substantial portion of Internews’ funding, with $415 million coming from USAID and an additional $57 million awarded by the US Department of State over the past 17 years.

The implications of this financial engagement are profound, as Internews has partnered with over 4,291 media outlets and has been involved in producing 4,799 hours of broadcast content in a single year, reaching an audience of up to 778 million people globally. Furthermore, Internews is reported to have trained over 9,000 journalists in 2023 alone, highlighting its extensive influence in the media landscape.

Jeanne Bourgault, the head of Internews, draws a significant salary of $451,000 annually and has been a vocal advocate for policies that many critics argue amount to censorship under the guise of fighting disinformation. The connections between Internews and influential figures like George Soros, and affiliations with organizations like the Open Society Foundations, have also raised eyebrows, suggesting a network of interests that extend beyond mere media development.

The scale of USAID’s involvement in media funding—supporting 6,200 journalists across 707 media outlets and 279 NGOs—illustrates a pervasive pattern of influence that could compromise the integrity and independence of journalism. This pattern is particularly concerning in regions like Ukraine, where USAID funding supports a significant proportion of media operations, and in New Zealand, where 25 media organizations have received backing through Internews.

USAID-funded Internews went from funding media organizations with George Soros to overthrow governments in Eastern Europe to calling for advertising boycotts to censor free speech online.

This is a textbook example of U.S. regime change tactics being redirected against domestic populism and American citizens.

In the 1990s, Internews partnered with the Soros Foundation to fund media organizations in post-Soviet nations, playing a pivotal role in the color revolutions of the 2000s in Serbia, Georgia, and Ukraine.

During Georgia’s Rose Revolution, Internews funded and trained journalists at Rustavi-2 TV, the leading channel driving the uprising.

Media was very good at informing the public about what was going on, and it had a huge role in calling people onto the streets.” – Marc Behrendt, former Internews director for Georgia

By 2003, in Ukraine, Internews had conducted 220 media training programs, trained over 2,800 journalists, and produced more than 220 television and 1,000 radio programs. It also funded Telekritika, an online outlet that played a central role in the 2004 Orange Revolution.

After Brexit and Donald Trump’s election in 2016, Internews—now working with the USAID-funded World Economic Forum (WEF)—shifted its focus to pushing advertising boycotts to suppress online dissent.

What was once a U.S.-funded operation to overthrow foreign regimes is now being used to silence American citizens and dismantle Trump’s populist MAGA movement.

  10. There's a crazy article on that fact-checking site about Ukrainian anti-vaxx chat groups from 2021.

"The anti-vaccination movement in Ukraine uses a non-transparent messenger for coordination.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 3 million COVID-19 cases have been registered in Ukraine, and more than 75 thousand Ukrainians have died from the coronavirus. As of November 11, Ukraine is a global COVID-19 hotspot. Each day for the last two weeks, the country recorded an average of 22,085 new COVID-19 cases and an average of 711 coronavirus-related deaths. This means that 51 people per 100,000 in Ukraine are dying from COVID-19 each day.

At the same time, Ukraine’s vaccination campaign has struggled to gain steam. Up to June 2021, less than a million people per month were receiving jabs. Starting in July, the pace of vaccination increased, though only slowly. Only in October, when Ukraine’s government started introducing the so-called “red zone” restrictions for unvaccinated people in many regions, did the pace of vaccination start to really spike, with a twofold increase compared to September. Nevertheless, as of November 11, only around 20% of the country’s population has been fully vaccinated."

  11. Fact checkers protesting too much?

"The Guardian never published any report alleging that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson encouraged Kyiv to prolong the war with Russia in exchange for a «bribe.» The claim was entirely fabricated by Russian propaganda outlets, which falsely cited the newspaper to lend their disinformation an air of legitimacy.

After the claim began circulating, StopFake examined whether The Guardian had in fact published such conclusions. The result was clear: it had not.

Before the fabricated claim emerged, The Guardian had indeed published an investigation mentioning Boris Johnson. The report examined his ties to businessman Christopher Harborne — a shareholder in a British defense company who donated £1 million to Johnson. Journalists focused on the fact that in 2023, Johnson brought Harborne with him on a visit to Ukraine for high-level meetings. The piece explored whether the donation and the joint trip could raise questions of a potential conflict of interest.

However, The Guardian made no assertions about Johnson’s motives for including Harborne on the trip. The article focused instead on questions of transparency and ethics surrounding the donation, noting only that the relationship might carry a commercial dimension. At no point did it claim — or even imply — that Johnson received £1 million to persuade Kyiv to prolong the war with Russia. Those allegations were entirely fabricated by Russian propagandists and falsely attributed to The Guardian to lend the narrative a veneer of legitimacy."

QinetiQ must be gutted after donating a million quid to Boris. They did say in a statement that they didn't expect anything whatsoever in return, so they only have theirselves to blame. They should have got him to sign a contract guaranteeing full-on war for the next 10 years, with all weaponry sourced in the UK and paid for by annual tax hikes, levies on energy prices and cuts to NHS services. You can't get more nationalistic than that.

The prime minister of Slovakia is better at joining dots than some members of the David Icke forum.

"Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had a financial interest in prolonging the Ukraine conflict, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has said.

Speaking in the Slovak parliament on Thursday, Fico referenced recent reports in the British press that tied Johnson to businessman Christopher Harborne, whose portfolio includes arms manufacturing. Harborne reportedly donated £1 million ($1.34 million) to Johnson after he left office in late 2022 and accompanied him on at least one visit to Kiev the following year.

Fico cited the case as an example of what he described as corruption and war profiteering among Western politicians, linking it to Johnson’s role in blocking a proposed peace deal between Russia and Ukraine negotiated in Türkiye during the first weeks of the conflict.

Boris Johnson fought for the war to continue. Then he took a million pounds from an arms manufacturer,” Fico said. “He didn’t want to end the war because he knew he had a friend who would give him money and in return he would help him with weapons in Ukraine.”

The Slovak leader added that “many people have made huge money” from the conflict, while the Ukrainians “were and are the main victims of this war.”

  14. "European Union members must sacrifice their own economies for Ukraine. . . Slovakia and Hungary pleaded for Ukraine not to decimate their energy sector—Brussels overruled their wishes. Farmers throughout the EU pleaded for Ukraine not to override their goods with duty-free imports—Brussels overruled their wishes. The examples are endless, but the outcome is always the same.

Poland is the latest nation to plead for Ukraine not to override an entire sector as tariff-free Ukrainian steel floods the EU. Ukrainian steel imports to Poland rose 27% in the first six months of the year, according to Polish steelmakers’ lobby group HIPH.

Poland will lose this battle because the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels have no incentive to see an actual EU member state surpass Ukraine. Every nation must send endless aid to Ukraine without question and willingly watch as Ukraine tramples on every sector of its economy."

  15. 'Long-acting' is now defined as two months.

"An injection to prevent HIV is to be offered to patients on the NHS in England and Wales for the first time, bringing the policy in line with Scotland.

The long-acting shot, given six times a year or every other month, is an alternative to taking daily pills to protect against the virus.

An injection which lasts for months offers convenience and discretion.

The NHS has an undisclosed discount from the manufacturer for the treatment that has a list price of around £7,000 per patient per year.

Charities say some people face long waiting times for appointments at clinics and the rollout must happen quickly. "
