Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said. "Just because you have a freedom doesn't mean you have to use it at every moment of every day."2 points

It is, and the cracks are showing now. Back in the 90's my dad explained something to me. A bit of background, didn't have much contact with my dad growing up. Mum poisoned us against him, we was told he didn't want us, that he was a wife beater and a bit of a gangster - he knew the Krays. When my sister and I made contact with him again, of course we asked the truth about it, he denied knowing the Krays, he supposedly sparred with them, he learnt to box in the Army, when he came out he ran an Off Licence in the East End. He was a sparring partner to the Cooper bothers. He described the Krays as street punks. So thats the context. During the 90's when we did have some contact with him, he showed me a newspaper article of a Business man. The businessman had got investors to invest in a company that relied on a supply chain from several different countries. He set the companies up, placed the order with shareholder money, the money passed from one company to the next to somewhere abroad, and went bust, because nobody supplied anything. He walked away with millions and it was technically legal and beyond any single countries powers to do anything about it. 'These are the real Gangster's' he said. 'The ones that do it legally in a suit, not the ones selling watches out of car boots or extorting' Fast forward a decade and a colleague spoke of a Spanish Mayor who after it being announced a new road would be built, announced his wife had bought a concrete factory nearby. We see Michelle Mone, the PPV scandal, this was how Politicians stole our money, and it was obvious. Sitting on multiple company boards and being paid for the influence. This was the sleaze and we could see it. Now, the theft is Policy. Digital ID - farm out to private company so they make a fortune. Social Housing - Farm out to Offshore companies. Quango's - Give money to people for relatively nothing in return. Bloated Civil Service largely 'working from home' Rayner tax avoidance, gets a month off after resigning, because if she was sacked, she couldn't return, then Starmer states he wants her back. Politicians pensions being better than we can dream of in Private sector and I don't think they have to do 20 years for it, I'm not sure. Certainly EU MP's automatically get it for service. The biggest theft, extortion and money laundering gangsters are still the men in suits, but its not side hustle sleaze that see's them booted out or ostracized in the business community, it is National Policy, enforced by the Police and Military. Scary times, but I think the corruption is out there for all to see, the hypocrisy is in most peoples faces, there are posts all over social media, we are connected without our local pubs and social events. The legislation they are bringing in, killing off Town Centres, Pubs, Restaurants, Shops, the war on Education, the Open Borders that has been allowed to get out of control, the National Debt, I've read of a Barrister going to local Police station to report the labour Party during the conference because their behaviour bordered illegal, with the rhetoric and slanders. He was Labour supporter but appalled at what he see's. We got barrister's taking legal cases on YouTube to challenge abuses of power. People calling for King Charles to dissolve parliament, petitions for General Election and no to Digital ID that Labour totally ignored and refused to debate in Parliament. Tommy Robinson going to Israel while Nethanyu criticizes our leader - Starmer. The abuses are out in the open now. The hypocrisy, the disparity. Its out of control, its in most peoples faces now, and its possible, this Digital ID to control an out of control immigration, that most people realize was Labours doing and Starmer was driving force behind keeping it going, is a step to far, they have revealed themselves. They are seriously corrupt and seek total control,2 points

On the subject of 'divisive language', on this occasion, I would agree with what Robert Jenrick said, and he made the same valid observation as anyone would if they were to walk around areas of Birmingham such as Small Heath, Sparkbrook and Alum Rock for themselves. Jenrick says no regrets over 'worst integrated' comment from: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy85zlpwne6o Now I don't know much about Handsworth as I tend not to go there very often but sometime last year I found myself over on the Soho Road whilst out and about, and as a 'factual observation' he's not actually wrong. I didn't see many other white people either, and most of the shops there cater to the local Asian and Afro-Caribbean communities, as well as the usual slew of 'European' shops serving the needs of Polish and Romanian locals. Parts of areas like Handsworth, just as much as parts of areas like Small Heath, Sparkbrook and Alum Rock, HAVE become 'ghettoised'. There's not actually much in the way of 'diversity' really I completely agree. Yet apparently, to make these kinds of observations now, make you automatically a "racist". Where I work in Sparkbrook, apart from the few people who work at long-established businesses in our neighbourhood, the only other 'white people' I see in the vicinity of the Stratford Road are drug-addled junkies who make no meaningful contribution to society. I've been working there for years, and this never bothered me, and it's only recently that I've started to feel 'uncomfortable'. Not that I feel 'personally threatened', but just that I can see a very 'ghettoised community' that is very much 'cut off' from the rest of society. The likes of Richard Parker and other Labour party members will no doubt go off to Handsworth or Sparkhill and have a 'marvellous curry', or something like that which cements their notion that "everything is wonderful". But what they don't see is how crime and violence escalates as these areas become 'more diverse', which just means that 'more white people move away because they're fed up'.2 points

I've seen lefties try to blame homophobic laws in former British colonies on Britain, and say that homophobia is a British invention. I've seen them claim that homophobia didn't exist in places like India and Uganda until the British arrived and that their anti-gay laws and attitudes are due to British influence. Most lefties will never acknowledge that many non-white countries have barbaric attitudes and policies towards gays, they just turn it round that it's our fault.2 points

Let's take our country back': Robert Jenrick says Brits are 'fighting' decline saying Tories must get behind 'collapse of the old order' Robert Jenrick urged Tories to 'take our country' back today as he warned the 'old order' is collapsing - and took a brutal shot at 'activist' judges. In his keynote speech to party conference, the shadow justice secretary said Brits were sick of decline and wanted to 'fight'. Snip He said: 'The collapse of the old order is in sight. A new one is coming because the British people are fighting back and, conference, there's absolutely nothing that Labour can do to stop them. 'The only choice, the only choice we have is whether we have the spirit to fight with them.' "A freedom" ??? Freedom is freedom, it is inherent and should be 24/7/365. Otherwise it is not actual freedom but conditional control. It is up to us to use our God given freedom to not harm another. Words spoken may not go down well, but you can go about your day even if pissed off at someone's view point. The shit that spews out of leaders mouth do harm however, because they act upon it using their powers to enforce in legislation, which is abuse and tyrannical.1 point

Wasn't sure if to put this in minor news, but to me, it's big news. We got a government who's drops a spying case against China, claiming China is a challenge not an enemy. But they officially state China has national security concerns, but it represents a growth opportunity, so we'll risk it anyway. But you the people, we won't let you risk 2 glasses of sugary drinks. One is a national security concern, the other is a lifestyle choice. We have to be legislated against to much sugar, but the government dropped a spying case against a hostile foreign government that has security issues on the basis it may invest money. So national security concerns go out the window in favour of investment but our personal choices have to be legislated? Secondly, who the f*ck do they think they are? I've often walked into a pub and downed my first pint because of thirst and ordered a second. I can't do that when I pay to go to a restaurant? What next? Waiters taught to calories count and refuse to serve if it breaks a limit? Menu choices limited to what the government say us good for us and which food groups we can have. FFS. This government is going to destroy the UK and move us to hardline socialism or communism. They will not listen to the public or their own petitions. They engage in Tax fraud and freebies while preaching to us about ethics and decency. Digital ID and laws like this are just the beginning of the nightmare they would force on us. Nando's restricts customers to one Coke per visit under new 'nanny state' rules triggering customer backlash Nando's has sparked a backlash after restricting customers to a single glass of Coca-Cola Classic under new government rules aimed at cutting sugar consumption. The Peri-Peri chicken chain, known for its 'bottomless' drink option, previously allowed diners to refill s But while zero-sugar options such as Sprite Zero and Fanta Zero remain unlimited, Coca-Cola Classic is now capped at one serving. An updated sticker on Nando's drinks machines now reads: 'Want Coca-Cola Classic? It's one glass only. 'Based on new government laws, we've had to limit Coca-Cola Classic to one glass per customer. Still thirsty? Help yourself to one of our low-sugar fizzy bottomless soft drinks.' The move immediately triggered complaints on social media. One X user wrote: 'Welcome to the nanny state.' Another said: 'This must be a joke.' Link - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-15165713/Nandos-restricting-customers-one-Coca-Cola.html Its not a joke, it's totalitarian tip toe.1 point

Similar to how it’s only sugar free drinks on offer in the supermarket. I suppose it’s one way to get us to buy them? Remember when Russell Blaylock used to describe how the rats wouldn’t eat the aspartame in the experiments? It’s so nasty, and bitter tasting and probably cancer causing. I wonder if we can compare it not being allowed to smoke but vaping is encouraged so much that you can get a free vape on the NHS. And they’re still allowed to advertise. It’s what we’ve let ‘them’ get away with isn’t it. ‘They’ nag constantly about respect and abuse but really they’re the abusers, and ‘they’ just keep pushing a bit more at a time. It’s never enough for ‘them’. No wonder DI calls it the Totalitarian Tiptoe. Well said of course.1 point

Oh there's those dreaded words "task force" again! What is a "task force" then? Just a group of people paid to sit around, talk incessantly, and find excuses, rather than solutions. The thing is though, is this gay bar owner saying that the Soho area is "no longer safe for gay people" or just "no longer safe for anyone"? In the interests of equality, this shouldn't just be about 'protecting LGBTQ+ people', but ensuring that everyone is safer. I imagine the ideal solution would be to have more visible police presence on the streets, and for the Mayor to start getting a grip on crime in his city. If the streets are not safe at night because there are so many gangs of young kids trying to stab each other over petty arguments, that's the kind of thing that puts ordinary decent people off having a night out on the town.1 point

I might add that the wait till another time training session, as in ‘lessons will be learned’, also seems to apply to other areas we’ve witnessed? .. Don’t shout now Don’t raise your voice Don’t show aggression Don’t go on holiday Don’t drive Don’t go out Don’t use electricity or water Don’t buy too much Don’t visit your relative in hospital Don’t visit your relative in their home Don’t invite people into your home Don’t get close Don’t hug or touch or breathe Just for a day Just for a week Just for 3 weeks It’ll be different in four years it’ll be different in ten years It’s only once in a generation It’s only once in a century Just wait You’re free to say anything you want, as long as you accept it has consequences You’re feee to do anything you want, just not at this moment in time We’re all in this together …. This is another part of ‘all’ that is happening for a reason? This is ‘all’ part of a bigger plan? Of that much ‘we’ can mostly agree? ‘We’ don’t want to be a part of any of this BS ‘We’ must learn from each other how to rise above the deliberate noise and agitation and aggravation There’s still a blue sky up there, or how best to put it? You know what I mean. When I say we I mostly want to say one1 point

Thanks @Velma and @cosmicinaudio ‘We’ can understand increasingly, with the more that ‘we’ see and hear. The two sides will shout at us all day long leading us into a path of blind frustration, and the rest … ‘We’ can often see the bigger picture ‘We’ can see the role of an actor I can’t help but think of that quote; “I want to be someone important, like an actor” I often find myself liking some of these actors. They serve an important purpose .. and there’s ‘us’ in the middle of the tug-of-war, saying “oh look at that monkey”, or whatever distraction, dummy / teat or titillation1 point

It's funny how Nigel and "Tommy" bleat on about freedom of speech and the right to protest until it involves calling out Israeli atrocities, then they become big supporters of the government curtailing free speech and police aggressively cracking down on protests. I used to actually like them somewhat, but now I think that pair are wolves in sheep's clothing. Same goes for Trump, they all claim to be for freedom but very quickly call for a police state.1 point

Merkel opened the borders in Germany and called for mass immigration. Labour have done the same. Fury over Angela Merkel's claim Poland is to blame for Ukraine war: European politicians say she has 'blood on her hands' after 'rewarding Russia's blatant aggression' Snip The former deputy prime minister of Latvia, Artis Pabriks, joined the chorus of criticism. The publication quoted him saying: 'Russia alone bears the blame for this aggression.' He took to social media to voice his opposition to the statements, writing on X: 'The problem with Merkel’s announcements is that she plays by [the] Kremlin playbook to further [the] Kremlin agenda to split and fragment Europeans, turn[ing] us against each other.' 'She sounds like Russian influence agent,' he added. Labour will not designate China an enemy and want closer ties despite the national security risks. The EU, including UK, have armed Ukraine but have restricted how they use the arms. They are not allowed to attack Russia directly with weapons we give them. What sort of policy is that?1 point

Nigel Farage claims pro-Palestinian protestors were “celebrating” the attack on a Manchester synagogue and described it as “vile” saying he has never seen anything like it in his lifetime! More vile than the 1994 car bombings of the Israeli Embassy and Balfour House by Mossad which injured 20 people in order to implicate Iran, for which two innocent Palestinians were jailed? Students considering joining pro-Palestinian protests on the anniversary of the Hamas attacks on Israel should "pause" and "show some humanity,” says education secretary Bridget Phillipson. Perhaps Israel should “pause” and “show some humanity” because the reason students are protesting is because of the inhuman operation to eradicate Gaza and the West Bank. Phillipson said: "There is, of course, within our country the fundamental right to protest. It's a cornerstone of our democracy.” Yet, Starmer is calling anti-genocide protests “un-British.” She continued, “So my message is that while you might have the right to protest, I would urge people to show some humanity, to show some respect and to understand the deep sense of grief and loss that many Jewish people in our country will be experiencing today." My message to her government is, show some humanity and respect for the loss and grief that two million Palestinians are experiencing every day under IDF bombardment. Damn hypocrites!1 point

The most far-fetched thing I find is the idea that the ECHR is against the cabal and will protect us. The European courts and the British courts seem like two sides of the same bent coin to me. I know there's a lot of people who subscribe to the belief that anything "British" is worst of the worst so anything foreign is always preferable.1 point

Mrs Tice reports from Libya, which she says is the source of the migration. But she doesn't mention the fact that Ghaddafi warned the world that if they got rid of him it would open the floodgates for migrants moving from sub-Saharan Africa to the EU. A few weeks ago, Farage congratulated Trump on bombing Iran. If Israel had managed to bring about regime change in Iran, how many more migrants would that have added to the total? (21:40) Is it unpatriotic to say that Cameron created the migration crisis and ISIS? "David Cameron’s 2011 decision to intervene in Libya helped fuel the rise of ISIL and was based on flawed intelligence, an inquiry has found. A report released today by the Foreign Affairs Select Committee gives a damning verdict on the Government’s actions, arguing there was no plan for what would happen once Colonel Gaddafi was ousted. The committee also claims Cameron did not realise that many of the rebels he was ultimately helping were in fact Islamic fanatics, and his actions enabled ISIL to get a foothold in North Africa. Parliament backed airstrikes against Gaddafi in March 2011 after the Libyan dictator tried to suppress an internal uprising sparked by the Arab Spring sweeping through North Africa and the Middle East. The complaints over a lack of post-conflict planning, flawed intelligence and a misunderstanding of the situation on the ground echo the criticisms leveled at Tony Blair after the 2003 invasion of Iraq." https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/david-cameron-libya-gaddafi-report_uk_57d86e4ce4b0a32e2f6d0f44?iaim83fs113q8h0k9&_guc_consent_skip=16057578851 point

When we get the ID cards and social credit system we will all be banned from more than one coke a day! I can see a time when the government introduce some “Healthy Lifestyle to Save the NHS” bill. Anyone not jabbed shouldn’t be allowed nhs care. It’s gonna happen… sugar tax is already a thing…1 point

"Take the warning labels off and let natural selection do the rest" Rail firm fined £1m over train passenger's death from: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20ej7rkj3ko While it's not nice that someone has lost their life, it sounds to me like this was entirely her own fault? Yes, her death was entirely preventable, if she hadn't been so stupid as to put her head outside the window of a fast moving train! "Insufficient deterrent" - what about pure common sense? It says a lot about health and safety and 'risk assessments' today when they have to cater to the lowest denomination of human ignorance and stupidity, when you think how long some of these trains have been in operation for that have these slide-down windows, with very few incidents such as this one that result in serious injury or fatality.1 point
