Apart from VAT, i don't paid tax. Apart from VAT, i don't pay any tax.

Remove yourself from the electoral registrar. Forego the benefits of being a member of the electorate.

Become self employed, send a notice of your understandings in respect to equality being a maxim of law, and THE prime consideration of any lawful and just society to the Inland Revenue, informing them that you do not recognise nor understand parliament as having any juristiction over you (you do not stand under it’s law), informing them that you did not vote for the current system of legislation and therefore it does not represent you. Inform them that the only thing of value is time and that you have been granted through divine covernance a cerain amount of time and that no man has any right to take that time from you, tax it or licence or hinder it in any way. Your time is valuable, it is the only thing of value in this world. Taxation of wages equates to taxation of time, which equates to theft of time where such taxation is not under consent. The notice is then worded to inform the IR that you do not consent to pay any income tax and denies anyone the right to tax your earnings.

If you are not self employed, the notice needs to go to your works wages dept / accountant too, along with a covering letter saying that you do not consent to paying income tax and take full responsibility for receiving undocked wages via issued invoice each week, and that you have informed the IRS about such.

Yeah ok, i pay road tax too, forgot about that one ;)

i pay university fees, i do so to give my eldest daughter the education that she wants. My youngest daughter attends college, and her mum pays her taxes in any event, but regardless of that, are my children not entitled to the same basic educative standards as any other child, the measures i have taken are for my Self.

i have private healthcare for me and my familly. i refuse to use the NHS who attend to gvt legislature by way of indoctrination toward vaccinations etc, and who can not offer a safe environment for treatment in any case.

on the few occassions i have required the police to attend to their duty as peace officers thay have failed miserably, i can not see the reason in paying for a force that is powerless to do it's duty through the incompetance of the governemnt that restrict it at every turn.

i have twice reported instances of criminal damage to my car and twice i have recieved nothing in the way of recompense, despite the culprits being apprehended both times.

i no longer have use for the police force, so why pay for a service i do not require?

The police force are duty bound to keep the peace, this is their foremost consideration, and as far as i can see they have been restricted in that duty. When the police force attend to their sworn oath and attend to keeping the peace (as apposed to being corporate policy enforcement officers) i have no qualms about paying a subsidary amount toward such attendance.

The government is misappropriating funds from the public purse though? it's not as though every spare penny is ploughed into education or care of the elderly...it's paid out in lucrative contracts to the public school cronies.

I'd much prefer to contribute to my local and national services where I see fit that way as an individual I can support the concerns I approve of and not fund illegal wars or bankers bonuses :)

National insurance pays for the health service and welfare benefits, tax mainly pays off the interest on the crony loans.....and I do everything I can to keep myself healthy so I'm not a burden.

As it happens I'm self employed and struggle taking money off people because many of my customers are old and disabled and don't have much. I spend a lot of time on extra curriculars like dropping off shopping and giving them lifts to appointments etc so I'm pretty sure what I save the state is far more than what I cost it :)

It's my opinion that a lot of the people inside this thread have misunderstood the motivations behind Mr. Braggs actions and have lacked the skills to adequately research this story.

Billy Bragg is going to stop paying his own taxes to the treasury if they don't act to stop the very same bankers responsible for the global banking swindle, which resulted in the British taxpayers owning the banks, from paying themselves billions in bonuses before they've finished housekeeping.

He's doing it to make a point and is in a position to be able to manipulate the media and is working it.

Build your own shit. roads sewage systems etc.. put some damn time into your own community then you will be healthy and have to work only on your life- and to prosper those around you- no one else.

Grow food use solar and wind power for electricity (combined could easily run a whole house) . If you do these things you eliminate need for Government in so many things in our lives..
