I grew up on a Manchester overspill estate about 8 mile from where Shameless is filmed. It is SOOOOO scary how I can compare characters from Shameless to people I knew growing up... LOL even the local boozer looks the same!
I love the programme it makesme ROFL :D

aye ive got a mate from Manc and she said that same!weve got boozers like that up here too,and social clubs.Great nite out with cheap bevy!;)

If he was one of mine he'd infuriat me! I love his moments of clarity, he's genius!
My BF was in love with Shiela, he says I remind him of her, just not as mad :p I missed the 4th series and for a long time didn't know what happened to her and how come Monica was bak, but I bought the box set before christmas and was pleased to see she found Jesus! :D

aye sheilas tidy!i love it when she takes one of her episodes.Monicas bird was funny,it was a good scene when her and frank had a fight.She ended up knockin him out.Then the episode when he took a fancy to her,he kept starin at her boobs.it was mint.ive got the box set too,it was a crissy pressie for myself!
The episodes with the mcquires are ace,they could have a spin off series of their own.

I also miss lip since he left the series. The new one looks like big changes are coming.

Aye lip was beautiful,very handsome laddie.The big sister and her man from the first series have done well,they are both in Big movies in Hollywood now
