Yeh, I know. Boring stuff, BUT -
Jose Mourinho has left Chelsea. Replaced with Avram Grant, the Israeli backstabber who stirred the pot behind Jose's back.
Mourinho is learning a big lesson in this - never, EVER trust an Israeli.

From what I've seen of Mourinho, he seems like a great coach.
I love Chelsea, so I hope the new manager is a good one :o

And to who ever said football is fixed, how exactly do you work that out? How many times do you see players hit the bar? The players just aren't good enough to pull that sort of thing off, granted the keepers could be bought but to fix the whole game you'd have to buy everyone.

It's because they are entertainers, you dont complain when Robbie Williams gets 10 mil for a couple of gigs.
People pay a lot of money to follow their clubs, clubs know the better the players they have the more succes you get, the more success you get the more people you get to watch the game, the more people you get to watch the game the more money you make.
So in answer to your question, no, it has fuck all to do with a brainwash factor.

It sure is. Look how fickle football supporters are. Look how Newcastle supports worship the ground beneath Michael Owen's feet when he hardly ever plays a game but gets ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS a week. Thats almost TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS. Who is paying? Newcastle supporters. He has been there for a couple of years and has only played about 10 times!
But still, he gets worshiped.
Some aspects of football are extremely fixed. Look at the last world cup, USA vs Italy. I have never seen something so blatant.. than Yanks had to score 3 times before the ref decided to allow a goal, 2 men off... it was just ridiculous. Then of course the documentary which shown CCTV footage of the hotel where Sepp Blatter was staying at the UEFA conference to determine who gets the top job. What did the CCTV show? One of Blatters assistants drop envelopes under the doors of people who were voting!
Do you think that with Beckhams money he wouldn't do the same thing (or his representatives) when Footballer of the year awards are decided? The most over rated player of all time but somehow he gets bigged up all the time by his mates in the press.
Obviously matches can be determined by dishonorable refs who become the 12th man.
You have to look at the politics behind conning the masses; it most likely has nothing to do with the illuminati at all (although look at the PFA logo), it's just that they know how to play the minds of gullible footy fans. Goaline technology will be delayed forever because they would rather have mass coverage on the back pages.
Look at F1. On the outside, sure, Hamilton and Alonso at loggerheads. Before the great black UK hope 'stormed onto the scene' F1 was becoming extremely unpopular. People were turning off. What better than some scandal, a great British black driver and some rivalry. You don't think they are having a nice coffee and laughing behind the scenes? It's all fixed.

As for 'special one' - he was absolutely right to leave.
A manager's job is to manange the football team - and once a
Chairman starts doing it, every team is fucked.
Chelsea are doomed, with that Russian - and if Grant is the new
manager - then he'll just be a figure head - the Russian will be picking
the team for next saturday.
Look at Man U AND Arsenal. Both have managers who have TOTAL
control over the footballing matters.

As an Aussie, you're right. Australia were absolutely robbed in
world cup - but that's was just lousy umpiring.
But there should be video appeal in football - where the ref.
or umpire can be overruled, if necessary. like in rugby.
But in football, the big team - that have all the support

yes I do!!
although it does show the LOA works!!
You only need to have the ref in your pocket to fix the game, im sure there have been many a brown envelope exchanged in the past judging by some of their fuck ups.
The Premiership has lost its appeal as you know who is gonna be in the top 4 virtually every season. Anyone of 12 teams could go up in the Championship, which is what its all about, more of a level playing field. Although the parachute payments to relegated prem clubs will soon spoil that league too....

I think there's a major shake up in store for club football in europe over the next couple of years and I reckon we''ll end up with a european super league..
This could be the reason we are seeing so many clubs being snapped up by billionaires across europe, they wont make their money back by raising the price of bovril and shirt sales etc.
This would allso tie in nicely with the euro parliments ideas as way of uniting the masses of europe.
People argue that the national FAs and UEFA would oppose, but as we all know money talks!!

For some time it has been growing on me that I should not be watching football, supporting "my team", engaging in conversation, or attaching any feelings to sport, whatsoever. However there is a duality. I love watching and playing football, I have so since i was a kid, grew up with it. I'm a Celtic supporter. Knowing what I do now about this world, how can I continue to be distracted like the rest of the sheep, spending my time and money, attentiona and emotions on such glitter. It seems to me like it's the one issue that's swept under the carpet, we're all too ready to critisize those who are entranced by easterenders and their daily doseage of fear, division and lies via media news and enetertainment, yet even David Icke likes a good old touch about. Without going into specifics, we all know the kind of money that's spent in the football world, the inequality it feeds, the bad example the players show the young, fed in turn by the idolisation and hatchet jobs of the press. The aggressive, disrepectful manner of all to many of these role models perverting the minds of the children, seen as acceptable conduct by the "too long gone" parents. Where I live there is also the problem of sectarionism, the catholic and protestant hatred issue is a reality in my home town, and it's at once frightening and disgusting to see the teen and older reaching for oblivion in a bottle at the weekends, charged up, with hatred in their hearts for the "opposite side-false opposite" There can be no doubt that the amount of distraction that football provides against the backdrop of what is going on right now is huge. Most football fans could rhyme an amazing list of info about fixtures, who's right footed-left footed, how many goals he scored in 1978, how many seats this ground holds, whilst not being able to point to palestine or iraq on a globe, tell you who the home secretary was, or know anything about false flag terror. Add to that the exploitation by companies like Nike and Addidas, the horror stories from the export processing zones of pregnant women being force fed amphetimine in order to complete 18 hour shift for enough to eat a bowl of rice a day and I start to wonder, should this be something that I am endorsing ? There is another part of me which says, do not let these bastards take away the enjoyment of what you consider to be an art, a physical chess, something which brings me happiness on this knarled marble, which says deplore what is to be deplored and then enjoy the rest. Am I complicit by my endorsement ? Can I any longer derive any pleasure from this game, knowing what I do now ? Avery stops short at no plane, as does Icke, and the tv show and football endorsment ? I have seen so many disinfo charlatans unmasked in my heart this year. I hope I'm not dissapointed again. No one is infallable, but at Icke's level of intellegence these two choices he has made make me suspicious, I want to be wrong about this recent gut feeling, because I have taken the man to my heart.

If Liverpool win (and they won't) it will be the first time they've won the league for 18 years. If Man U come fourth (and they won't) it will be their worst position for 17 years.
Yes, Celtic will win.
If you assume that football is rigged (which presumably only means that certain games are fixed and at least some overall competition winners are fixed) then some baffling refereeing decisions suddenly make sense. Like that one in the Superbowl when, was it Pittsburg Steelers who won? I don't know anything about American Football, but a touchdown that was clearly not a touchdown was given. Everybody knew it wasn't a touchdown, even me.
In English football, penalties can be given, players can be booked and/or sent off, goals can be disallowed etc. and people just assume that the ref is crap.
And several players have been suspected of being involved in fixing games. And in Italy, there was a massive match fixing scandal before they won the World Cup, which also happened before the last time they won the World Cup in 1982, which is strange.

Isn't football just a distraction, herding facility, vile lucre machine? As for not seeing the connection between Icke and football? Are you serious Sean ? He left school to play football for Coventry City and Hereford United in the English league, playing as a goalkeeper until forced to retire at the age of 21 because of arthritis. He would also become strong part of BBC Sport's presentation team, often as a stand-in host on Grandstand and snooker programmes. Granted all this is before the awakening, however, I believe it was on "Was David Icke Right (btw anyone think this title was a subliminal for ludicrious anti-semite b/s)" where he shows us encouraging his son Gareth a beach soccer player who has represented England in international beach soccer. So, in short I think there is a established link. Try to view my posts as not wishing to win any argument, or attack anyone, but simply as a search for truth.

Well that's lovely, but I wouldn't ever watch women's football unless they wore the strips they are wearing in that photo.
It's pony. We all know it. Sorry.
But not as crap as women's rugby. The Womens game is no less skillful, only slower, but your entitled to your opinion.
And in Italy, there was a massive match fixing scandal before they won the World Cup, which also happened before the last time they won the World Cup in 1982, which is strange.
oh my dear you want to talk football statistics then lets do and just for comparisons we will use liverpool and man utd
fact 1 liverpool has won more fa cup titles than utd
fact 2 liverpool has been in the top flight albeit it be the premiership or division 1 more than utd
fact 3 liverpool have won more silverware than utd
fact 4 celtic have the biggest supporters club in the world
on the subject of refs i think the refs who award dodgy penalties in the old firm games in scotland are playing with their lives as one ref found out after awarding rangers a dodgy penalty and went home to find his house had been burnt down

The Matildas have my full support :D Espescially after that goal against Norway. Magic.
They need all the support they can get against Brazil in the next round. Thank you.

Yes, and my opinion is that it is less skillful. Deep down, I think it's yours too.
I could be wrong, but to me it is obvious and self-evident. I'm not trying to be offensive or sexist or anything. The best players are men, and they are far better than the best female players.
Who is the female Ronaldhino?

Fact 1 is wrong I'm afraid, and has been for years.

Yep, Denis Law backheeled United to relegation in the 70s, playing for Man City. Ridiculous irony. He couldn't celebrate the goal.
fact 3, liverpool have won more silverware than utd
Yes including 18 league titles and 5 European Cups. United are catching up in terms of league titles, and will probably have overtaken them in terms of European Cups some time in the 2050s, so there.
fact 4 celtic have the biggest supporters club in the world
I don't know if that's true or not, but it would surprise me if it is.

That didn't used to happen at all. Then we started importing European players, and now it's common. It makes me want to puke. It's cheating, and it just looks pathetic.

BTW, United's unique treble in 1999 was a better achievement than any other football team ever, including Liverpool when they were the mutt's nuts and beat everybody. Liverpool did win a treble in the 80s, but not the treble.
That probably won't ever happen again.
The Red Devils won all 3 major trophies in 1999 (upside-down 666), losing only 3 league games, conceding 3 goals in each game, and ending the season with a 33 game unbeaten run.

Liverpool FC probably has the best fans in the world, and no, I don't work for Carlsberg.
They applaud teams that have beaten them when they deserve it, which is rare.
And, the sound of thousands of people singing You'll Never Walk Alone is just amazing.
And your predictions are still wrong, sorry.
lol u get the same singing at a celtic game but as for wrong predictions i do not think so

The womens game is a lot slower, it's far less skillful, technical, tactical and powerful.. Are you telling me that technically wise there are women the equivalent of steven gerrard, thierry henry, michael owen, beckham (in his day), shearer (in his day), joe cole, rooney, c ronaldo etc. etc.?
There are a few good enough to play in the league but they are absolutely no where near the premiership, maybe div 2 at most!
They have, however, got a lot better over the last few years and I don't mind watching it. especially if Sweden are playing :D

Yes, only originally, in Glasgow, it was called You'll Never Walk Again. :D
BTW, I couldn't resist checking (http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/TheFACup/History/Postings/2003/11/FACupStatistics.htm), and Man United have had more FA Cup wins than Liverpool since 1909.
since 1909 but throughout the history of football?

The same team that's never been relegated from top flight football.
The same team that will WIN the league this year.

I'm not even sure whether 98% of United fans have ever been to England.
BTW, didn't Chelsea sell Robben to Real Madrid?
