SEX PISTOLS have announced a concert to mark the 30th anniversary of the release of their seminal album "Never Mind the Bollocks".
Original members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock will play at the Brixton Academy in London on November 8.
The group, who split in 1978, first reformed for a world tour in 1996 and last performed together in 2003.
Tickets, costing £37.50, go on sale at 0900 BST on Friday.
"Never Mind The Bollocks... Here's The Sex Pistols", which included "God Save the Queen" and "Anarchy in the UK", caused uproar when it was released in October 1977.

SEX PISTOLS LYRICS
"Bodies"
She was a girl from Birmingham
She just had an abortion
She was case of insanity
Her name was Pauline, she lived in a tree
She was a no one who killed her baby
She sent her letters from the country
She was an animal
She was a bloody disgrace
Body! I'm not an animal
Body! I'm not an animal
Dragged on a table in factory
Illegitimate place to be
In a packet in a lavatory
Die little baby screaming
Body screaming fucking bloody mess
Not an animal
It's an abortion
Body! I'm not animal
Mummy! I'm not an abortion
[Spoken]
Throbbing squirm,
gurgling bloody mess
I'm not a discharge
I'm not a loss in protein
I'm not a throbbing squirm
Fuck this and fuck that
Fuck it all and fuck a fucking brat
She don't wanna baby that looks like that
I don't wanna baby that looks like that
Body, I'm not an animal
Body, an abortion
Body! I'm not an animal
Body! I'm not an animal
An animal
I'm not an animal.....
I'm not an abortion.....
Mummy! UGH!
Why did Wordsworth never write 'em like that eh?
Saw 'em when they first started the reunion business. Their songs nowadays go on twice as long and there were loads of boring extra guitar bits.
I was dissappointed because they have lost the manic, aggressive and furious power they once had.

alot of bands mess up when they do live shows, from time to time, period. it's sometimes they attempt something that fans aren't used to. it can work magic or not...
depends if a person is fortunate enought to catch the good show, i guess.

They called it the Greatest Rock n roll Swindle. There have been many more even greater swindles and look at the Charts today. I prefer not to.
I liked some of the Pistols and they did play their own instruments and write their own songs.
I know the World's gone mad when so called singers ( who have terrible voices and don't really sing they shout, talk or preach) and they don't play a musical instrument get voted best musician WTF

............
I'm all for extra guitar bits ( not if it's boring though:rolleyes:) Hendrix and many guitar heroes would be much more fun to listen to if they kept their bloody mouths shut.

Steve Jones is not Hendrix. Punk is not about long guitar solos and filler, it's about short songs that don't get boring. It's clear that they're just trying to make one album worth of songs at 38 minutes into a one and a half hour stadium show...
If they wanted to be interesting they'd write some new songs.

....well,it aint too hard to see,of course theyve lost there manic,aggressive power..........like me,they are careering,like a train,without brakes,downhill at 70 miles an hour,with leaves on the line,into middle age.

I rerspect John Lydon, he is definately one person who has seen through the illusion.

..they put a hotwire to my head, cause of the things I've done and said, they made these feelings go-away, a model citizen in everyway
