Sticky threads, too many?

Surely it's time to get rid of the sticky threads?

A bit of tweaking might help: most forums the stickies only appear top of page one, not every page

And more characters available for thread titles please!

Many people don't even read them.
I'd make just one or two and stick all the stickies right in there. :)

If the page was longer and the stickies were only on the first page it'd be cool.

But I like the 'get together' theme of the stickies in this forum, sets the place apart.

I removed some old stuck threads the other day, and relocated them.

Three of the current stickies are only temporary and will be unstuck
within the next few weeks. Be patient little grasshoppers ;)

But I do like the idea of only having the stickies on the first page.
