What is really religion all about!

I always thought about this and i could see passed the lies which were being told but i never could come up with an answer as to why so many people would fall for it, also spend most of their lives worrying about what god may think about them?

after listening to alot of david ickes talks and many other peoples points of view on the matter (even tho i knew deep down within myself what the truth is)

I came across this video (Recently) that really explains alot about the religions and global controll and why its happening! and whats going to happen!

Well depending which country , culture you're born into will define which religion you become, that's usually the case, it's chance and random chaos unless you believe in reincarantion....last life you where Muslim so this life you may return as a Hindu, which is a religous belief: reincarantion, but who knows this belief could predate religion.

Some cultures are tied in with religous customs and beliefs. Which can make it difficult for those people to reject religion or convert to another faith.

The people in the Uk these days are rejecting religion, it's not something we need.
Of course everyone knows someone who goes off to become a Born again christian or whatever.


For me I don't need a faith.

Yes where you are born is a big part of it, and your parents to a great extent.

And yes, people in the UK are slowly eschewing it.

However, more and more people are being forced to the fringes of society - drug addicts, alcoholics, low-rent-hookers etc, and you find a shitload of these people become born-agains, not just because if they can clean their act up a little bit they can get free coffee and biccies, but because after being hollowed out by their tragedy, they crave companionship, and a sense of belonging. Many of them then become quite devout, and then they're really only moving from one addiction to another.

That's all religion is. Addiction.

I'm sorry but how can you be born into a Religion? (I know you can be born under a zodiac sign but the zodiac's signs are by design)
Bizzar! you either dont feel like you want to follow any religion or you can choose your religion or its forced upon you by your parents (if im born in the uk it does'nt automaticaly mean i'm C of E (church of england) and my parents dont believe in religion at all. Then is'nt it by choice if i decide to follow religion or not?).

All i see religion do is create wars by playing different religions off against one another, Also it is disconnecting us from each other as one religion doesnt want to believe in any other religion apart from there own) now if you think about this for a minute i get the destincted impression that whats happened is that people have been believing in some almighty invisable entity,(that watches over them and has asked them not to do 10 things and would like you to give him 20$ (all knowing all seeing, all powerfull , almighty needs money? ) a week to help him pay his gas bill, BUT HE LOVES YOU!

(Give them a false belief by inventing this almighty God or whatever you want to call it), Nobody could ever prove that there is or is'nt a god and most people would fall into the spell of thinking > (I couldnt really create this world or the Animals, Plants universe etc etc.. therefore there must be a higher almighty that did it) And therefore will stop believing that they are creating their reality And pass it over to that invisable entity that will create the reality for you! (catch my dift)

Just go look at all the religions before jesus and boy what a familiar picture you'll see!

All were born on the 25th of december!
All had a virgin mother
All had 12 deciplies / followers
All adorned by 3 kings
All were teachers at the age of 12
All there births were accompainied by a star in the east
All baptized at the age of 30
All performed miracles
All were crucified
All were dead for 3 days and resurrected

The list could go on and on for ages, but can you see a familiar pattern here?

My suggestion is for people to stop believing in that invisable enitity/almighty and to start to believe in themselves and that they are creating the reality around them!.

untill the frequency which we all vibrate in changes we are stuck in this phisical world! (we can change the frequency by beleiving it is me/you creating it)

I totally agree with you. I like the George Carlin and Zeitgeist references.

To answer your question about religion and birth, I am the same as you, born in UK, neither parent religious, so I have a choice. But what if you were born in Saudi Arabia, Iran or Papua New Guinea, eh?

Well exactly!
Thats why the world is so messed up, I really deep down in my heart think that most people are scarred to be different from their fellow counter parts (citizens) and this is what helps keep their religion together, Also having the other religions banging on their doors with machine guns in hand doesnt help either,

I just wonder what it would be like if there was no such thing as religion?
would we still kill each other? torture & poison the planet? (because dont forget if you believe that you create the reality around you im sure you would'nt want to do any harm to anything what so ever no matter what part of the planet you are from!

Ever thought that along time ago we were all telapathic every single one of us and that we never knew how to speak (apart from grunts and groans) but when we learnt how to speak we found it amazing that we could communicate this way and carried on speaking instead of using the our telepathy, after a period of time we just forgot how to use the telepathy part of our brains because we were so engrossed in our speach?

Dont take that just for telepathy but for all the other amazing things we are capable of doing but have just forgotten how to do them.(maybe we all used to see through our 3rd eye but when we discovered sight we found this amazing too and got so engrossed in seeing through the eyes we have forgotten to use our 3rd eye?) I'm not a big believer in telepathy or third eyes, I'm afraid, so you'll have to ask someone else about those, but totally with you on religion.
