The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) is tracking a comet that is about to make a perilous close approach to the sun: Movie (http://spaceweather.com/images2010/02jan10/comet_c3_anim.gif?). Will the icy visitor survive? Click here (http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/realtime/c3/512/)for the latest image. (Note: The comet was discovered earlier today by Australian amateur astronomer Alan Watson in images taken by NASA's STEREO-A spacecraft.)

Read my sig, should square everything up.
Btw, that photo looks like something I saw awhile back on here, I don't remember the thread title. It was further away, I forgot if it was someone claiming it was Nibiru or some shit or what. What a coincidence. There is no telling what the outcome would be.

Thanks for that your sig gave me a laugh.
I found this info on spaceweather.com and i found it interesting because i have seen similar videos posed before where a claim was made that the sun interacted with the comet by letting off a CME. It will be interesting to see if this one does crash and burn and if there is any reaction from the sun or will it simply burn up and fade away.
