Began 2004
Will finish 2011
• Architect: Dar Al Handasah Architects.
• Developer: Saudi Binladen Group.
Seems Very Decadent When Considering The Spiritual Nature Of The Hajj
This great annual convention of faith demonstrates the concept of equality of mankind,
the most profound message of Islam, which allows no superiority on the basis of race, gender or social status.
The only preference in the eyes of God is piety as stated in the Quran:
"The best amongst you in the eyes of God is most righteous."
During the days of the Hajj, Muslims dress in the same simple way, observe the same regulations and say the same prayers at the same time in the same manner, for the same end.
There is no royalty and aristocracy, but humility and devotion.
These times confirm the commitment of Muslims, all Muslims, to God.
It affirms their readiness to leave the material interest for his sake.

there is a prophecy of Muhammad’s that says that one sign of the end-times would be that Bedouin sheep-herders would compete in building tall buildings.
There is a famous Hadith of Jibril (i.e. the angel Gabriel) which is often recited when a Muslim is talking about Islam.
What most people don’t usually realize is that in that same hadith the Muhammad actually prophesied about the appearance of tall buildings at the end of time.
What follows is the hadith:
“Now, tell me of the Last Hour,” asked the man.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied,
“The one asked knows no more of it than the one asking.”
“Then tell me about its signs,” said the man.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied,
“That slave women give birth to their mistresses;
and that you see barefoot, unclothed, beginning shepherds competing in the construction of tall buildings.”

According to the Qur'an, Abraham and Ishmael built the Kaaba in a location that "reflects" a house in Heaven that Adam built.
During the reign of the Meccan pagans, the Kaaba was surrounded with 360 idols (one for each day of the year).
After Muhammad conquered Mecca, he destroyed all of the idols while reciting
"Truth has arrived and falsehood has perished for falsehood is by its nature bound to perish."
Seems Odd That These Idols (Stone Pillars) Are Being Rebuilt...!!!
