This is a drug unlike normal chemotherapy drugs, as this drug
leaves healthy tissue alone.

Besides it being safe, cheap, with the ability to kill most cancers, the
good new is, THIS drug is not patented by a drug company, so nobody
'owns' it!

Glycolysis isn't a bad thing, the cells do it to survive. Imagine if you were doing some strenuous activity and instead of switching to glycolysis and producing lactic acid (feel the burn!), your muscles just stopped working and died of oxygen starvation. That wouldn't be that great.

Forcing them to be 'normal' cells might not be a good idea. If there wasn't enough oxygen for all the cells before, there's going to be even less if some of the cells can't compensate by using an alternate form of metabolism.

Cancer might be the bodies way of protecting itself from tissue damage from oxygen starvation. Maybe. I don't know, I can pretend to know something about biology, can't I?
