Stock up on nit combs, just in case there is a big outbreak of head lice.
Anyone know what "oil" would you need to put in your hair in these circumstances ?

sure you could do as olive oil is fantastic for the condtion of rthe hair but plain tea tree would suffice if need be.Your right btw there would be a total infestation of them.
Another good way is plain old hair conditioner and a nit comb.Cheap conditioner is okay.If the conditioner is left on and the hair is bone combed then the nits will get stuck in the condtioner, they hate this too.It was a doctor who gave me this advice and it defo works.Using these chemicals all the time is bad for the skin and hair plus the nits become immune to the chemicals!
Your welcome Steevo, hope you had a good xmas btw,

LOL When I was in first grade the whole school came down with head lice. I had hair down to my butt. My mom chopped it all off and poured kerosene in my hair. That worked. And I was happy I didn't have to deal with her yanking my hair when she combed it. LOL

Yeah I suppose when your hair is long, MAYBE sometimes it is better to cut it short to get rid of the nits more easier. Shame though. But maybe by using the kerosene, you might not REALLY have to cut the hair off ?

LOL I'm glad she did. It really hurts when your mom yanks your hair.
