It's not a Chinese Astrology vs Western Astrology type of question. The question might be, "Can they both be true?" I don't see why not. There may be some different lines drawn, names for things we don't have in English, and a slightly different style, but they tell us the same things about ourselves.

I've compared Indian Astrology to Western Astrology. They are pretty much the same and a similar reading can be derived from either method or a mixture of the two if one wishes.

There was an astrologer -- Eberton -- who developed a 100% unique way of looking at astrology. His findings confirmed the other methods. He had the same results, but found his methods simpler at times and choose to use those.

i rate it about 96% accurate

I have 2 copies hard cover and pdf.

a must for any serious student of astrology... you just cant work out the person with only half the information.

i just read im the year of the rat, and the rat is a water sign connected to autumn/winter season. it is a lover of money and hates waste and idleness.

the fact that im a gemini which is an air sign and is a summer sign also is opposite of this. im also the least money motivated person i know, and i dont mind being idle and chilling out. hmm but hey itl suit some people out there to a T. All depends eh

The Rat is an Air sign and associated with the night and the Face or the Mind.It is the first of the 12,the oldest.They like all night signs are reserved and sensible.They do the right thing,by the mothers side.Their opposite,the Tiger ,is the success in the market place.He rides the current of success ,where as the Rat hides and thrives in the failure and rot of life.
The water equivalent is the equine the Horse the nightime of are emotions or water.
Both of these characters are Mental/emotional (Rat)or Emotional/mental (Horse) Prisoners,and represent vast compromises on behalf of the individual,Conformity,Undoubtedbly upon encountering the Big Bad World in early life.
As far as Gemini goes,these are pretty insignificant compared to the Rat part.The saying ,"The moon doesn't have any light of its own" reveals that we can be any of these signs.They are our ability to Reflect ,to be a conduit for inspiration etc,and we can be them all when we appreaciate all the seasons.
