Someone mentioned today a very interesting thing

look at the word VIKINGS, and break it up....

VI KINGS

VI = number 6 in Roman.

6 Kings .....

Odin sacrificed himself on a tree (hung) for several days to gain wisdom.
Some say that one of the reasons Christianity was successful in converting the Norse from their pagan roots were the similarities.
Both have resurrection (Baldur, beloved of the gods being killed tragically and the ressurected), Odin sacrificing himself, Valkries as angels and both have an 'end times' belief. Christianity is 'Rapture / Judgement Day' and Norse Pagan is 'Ragnarok'

Serious coincidence, but of no relevance. The Christians 'stole' the Norse Gods away from the Norse, just like they did all the other Gods from everybody else. They figured worship and faith were good business and they didn't want any competition.
