I'm only half way through it so it won't be finished for a month or so from now. Thought I'd put the very rough copy up if anyone wanted a butchers :D

well yeah, basically I used 120 - 140 bpm samples and played them at 70 bpm, mixed with 70, 90 and 110 bpm drums..
I've done more work to it now, I need some female vocals and to manually quantize a few sections and beats.. Then I'm gonna have to strip it apart and clean up the separate tracks..
There is chanting in there from asia and a random voice sample at the beginning, it sounds like bush but i really don't know..

That was good. Reminded me of a western film with Johnny Depp, Dead Man or Dead Men or something?
Watch the film, you will see what I mean.
Good music;)

Strider, that's a really cool piece! Very imaginative. I listened to it a few times b/c there's a lot going on (which is good). I like the multi-layered approach. There's the repeated melody which is rather “legendary” sounding (Old Western), yet distinctly electronic. Then there's the Native American-style chanting which you did some fucking with giving it a bizarre and eerie quality. Then the “trance-style” drums go on for quite a while, but it doesn't get monotonous b/c you keep adding stuff and varying things. Nice job! I'd like to hear more of your work.

Thanks fellas, really kind.. It's not finished yet. My idea is to get a few icke samples on at the beginning or things of that nature, i need to go in and quantize a few beats separately and all that and the idea is to finish it with some tribal female singing along with some soft trumpets..
As for other stuff, I scrapped the lot and started over a fresh.. Actually, I kept one as it was the first one I done on the comp and I plan to chop a beat out to use in another track, but I hurriedly converted it and some of the levels are awful. It's not that good either..
