Hey all,

i was just curious as to how many forum users have been to peru for the medicine or drank in their home countries..?
I would imagine there would be quite a few of us, considering the size of the forum and numbers of users...
So, out of interest, all those who have experienced the space and healing provided through the vine, stand up and say hi, if you like...

I've done some successful home brews. The last one I did had a bit too much Chaliponga in it and was intense to say the least :D

up until recently, a Peruvian shaman was administering this in Toronto Canada. He has abruptly returned to Peru.

I was invited to join the group on FB which is how I found out about it.

ha ha, nice one logic bomb... home brewing is brave, good on ya... you sound like you use admixtures too, not just the ayahuasca analogue plant products people tend to use when home brewing.

sofa king, what was the shaman's name in toronto...?

here is a clip from the FB page I was invited to. Didn't know anything about Ayahuasca at the time so I declined participation in the group and the events that were held.

Juan Gilberto Flores Salazar, 59, is an Ashaninkan healer from the Peruvian Amazon, who has dedicated his life to the study of medicinal plants and indigenous culture. Mr. Salazar comes from a lineage of healers that dates back hundreds of years to the time of the great Inca civilization. He has spent most of his life traveling throughout Peru learning from various elders and master healers from many different tribes. In 2001, he founded Mayantuyacu, a centre for the study of medicinal plants and culture that is situated in the crater of an ancient volcano, surrounded by virgin rainforest and is in one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world. Mr. Salazar is known worldwide for his vast knowledge of medicinal plants and his success in healing everything from cancer, to diabetes, to rheumatism, to depression and much more. His work has been highlighted in the publications of the Swiss-based writer and anthropologist Jeremy Narby. (The Cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge, Shamans Through Time and Intelligence in Nature). Recently, Mr. Salazar has begun to travel and work with people abroad. His interest is in working with the best of both traditional and western medicine for the betterment of all of humanity.
