Just thought I would throw this out there. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I read
somewhere that he was a Freemason?

Thanks rique, this is one of my favourite works of art. :)

A one-eared Freemason...? Hope it becomes a trend! :D

Vincent van Gogh painted 'Starry Night' from a window while being treated at a facility for his mental health.

Mick Jagger is a shit singer.

Sometimes it's more than technical ability.

The tower on the left in the foreground looks nice and Lovecraftian. Or is it a tree or something?

The sky looks somehow biological or animate, not empty like it usually does.

Art is very subjective...

I really love the work of Van Gogh. It looks simple but I suspect this is not the case. Many are brightly coloured and have a child-like appearance but no ordinary child could do this work. Above all, his work touches me somewhere deep inside.
