Hi Folks

Wondered if you would like to share any films that have masonic imagery or philosophy within them?

I watched "It's a Wonderful Life" last night for the first time (the whole way through!) and noted that the character of George Bailey had a few noble masonic characteristics (putting others first, placing people's situations before profit) etc.

I'd say that the characteristics of which you speak aren't exclusive to masons. In fact I'd say on the whole you'll more likely find them in a higher percentage of the public at large than within purely masonic circles.

You need to take off your masonic goggles and look around you. There are good people everywhere.

Sorry Moon Monkey

I didn't mean to imply that only masons would have those characteristics - just that the character seemed to uphold the good values that masonry teaches about.

I know that outside masonry many millions of people uphold those values daily. I'm sorry I don't mean to cause offense by a poorly worded post.

an interesting thing to watch for is how many movie characters wear S&C rings.

You would be amazed how often a director drops this in

Here is a few pretty extensive lists - I do not see "It's a Wonderful Life" listed.

Thanks for the lists, It's a wonderful life is probably just from what I take from it.
