It doesn’t look like Kent County Council have been very honest or happy about
answering conflicts of interest and answering question about their CEO Peter Gilroy
who has given talks for common purpose.
Well worth reading.

I can confirm that the individuals you have listed in your request are all employed, or have
been employed, by Kent Police at some time and are all Common Purpose Graduates.
Common Purpose is a cross-sector educational programme that seeks to engage senior
managers in a wide range of experiential learning in order for them to be able to enhance their
leadership skills within their own organisations as well as developing business networks
towards the 'common purpose' of improving the quality of services and prosperity to the county
of Kent. Consequently, and with that aim in mind, when officers achieve a position in the
organisation that would see them serving or acting in the role of a BCU (Basic Command Unit)
Commander, they may attend this programme.
The main benefits of the Common Purpose Programme, as identified by officers when the
scheme was last evaluated are:
- A greater understanding of how other agencies work and the problems they face
- A broadened outlook
- The opportunity to build useful networks within the area
- Improved relationships with other partner agencies on behalf of the Force
- Promoting greater understanding about the police
You have asked for information concerning ‘board and committee positions’. These terms do
not entirely correspond with the police environment. I have interpreted this to refer to the
individual’s current operational role and these have been provided.
We do not hold information regarding previous positions held by the individual officers listed
above, as we do not hold records dating back to 1998. However I can confirm their current
ranks and positions within Kent Police, these are listed below.
Adrian Allen – Inspector – West Kent Management Team
Nora Chandler – Detective Superintendent – Head of Investigations, Professional Standards
Mark Janaway – Superintendent – Tactical Operations
Neil Jerome – Superintendent – Head of Department, Partnership and Crime Reduction
Andrew Judd – Inspector – South Kent Management Team
Daniel Murphy – Detective Superintendent – Force Communication Centre, Senior Management
Team
David Pascoe – Chief Inspector, Borough Commander, Mid Kent Senior Management Team
Paul Brandon – Chief Superintendent – Area Commander, North Kent
Anne Brittain – Detective Superintendent – Head of Forensic Investigation
Jonathan Bumpus – Detective Chief Inspector – Crime Manager, Special Crime, West Kent
John Frayne – Chief Inspector – District Commander, South Kent
Lisette Harvey – Former Chief Inspector - Retired
Kent Police : Central Operations FOI
Form No.3540_11 rev Jan 2005 [erev 1/05] v1.1
Policy No. D18
Nigel Thomas – Superintendent - Currently seconded to Foreign and Commonwealth Office
Keith Potter – Former Detective Superintendent - Retired

This one looks very interesting, I wonder if Kent are not answering because Eric Hotson is the Deputy Mayor of Maidstone who is also a Conservative Kent County Councillor , who previously worked for Kent County Council’s legal team, and works for this company.
It also seems very strange that Kent needs to pay this outside company when it has its own in-house solicitors

You really couldnt make this up , it just gets worse the further you go down the rabbit hole
It turns out that Eric Hotson was also the previous Leader of Maidstone Borough Council, now run by Christopher Garland a Conservative freemason.
Who has no intention of answering any further questions on common purpose...now there's a surprise
Could it be because both the Chief Executive David Petford and the Head of the Legal Team Paul Fisher are both common purpose trained
It looks like they tried to deny at least the CEO , who was also on the advisory board...no minutes apparently all got lost when they moved.

[QUOTE=ms hope;1058476138]This one looks very interesting, I wonder if Kent are not answering because Eric Hotson is the Deputy Mayor of Maidstone who is also a Conservative Kent County Councillor , who previously worked for Kent County Council’s legal team, and works for this company.:eek: Kingsfords Solicitors in Ashford;
This firm of solicitor's also deals with childrens cases; does anybody get a warm feeling:rolleyes:

It doesn’t look like Kent County Council have been very honest or happy about
answering conflicts of interest and answering question about their CEO Peter Gilroy
who has given talks for common purpose.
Well worth reading.
This is truly scary where are all the so-called independent media or journalists, if I can find all this .......its definitely insider trading

"Thank you for your enquiry which I found interesting. I am assuming that it is a genuine request and on that basis I am happy to give details of my career starting in Nursing and then in Social Work. I started in psychiatric nursing and qualified as a registered mental nurse (RMN) before going on to study psychiatric social work and gaining my CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work). I then went on to do further training in mental health at the Tavistock Institute and with the Richmond Fellowship as well as in the Health Service, and undertook postgraduate training courses both at Exeter and Bristol Universities. As a practitioner I worked as part of a project closing large psychiatric hospitals in Devon where we were one of the first areas to develop alternative housing for former patients. I then applied to join East Sussex County Council where I managed all the social services (as it was then defined) for Brighton, Hove and Lewes. Throughout this period, up until I joined Kent County Council, I retained a small caseload. While I was there I was asked to be part of the Clunis Inquiry, looking particularly at the implications for policy. I also initiated an approach to conferences where 90% of the audience were service users. In Kent as Director of Operations and then as Strategic Director of Social Services, I chaired the Kent Child Protection Committee for thirteen years and Kent Social Services gained the top star rating for its services which it has maintained. I hope that is helpful in terms of my career....."
