Great results for England and Scotland ( and Wales).
Terrible results for both Irelands - North and south.
We lost 1-0 to Czechs and the North to bloody iceland.
Well, as long as we keep fielding two teams - what
can we expect.

Owen hits top 40 as England roar
Michael Owen bagged a brace as England took a big stride towards Euro 2008 with a clinical 3-0 dismissal of Guus Hiddink's Russia at Wembley.
Owen struck twice in the first half to become only the fourth player, after Jimmy Greaves, Sir Bobby Charlton and Gary Lineker to score 40 times for the Three Lions.
A rather less prolific player, Rio Ferdinand, struck his first international goal since the 2002 World Cup six minutes from the end. So, six months after suffering the worst abuse ever directed at an England manager, Steve McClaren now knows that England require just five points from their remaining three games to qualify, providing one of them comes in the return meeting with Russia next month.
It is a quite startling about-turn in fortunes and, while Gareth Barry and Emile Heskey in particular deserve heaps of praise for their superb contributions, Owen is the man who made it possible.
A scorer in his last two games for Newcastle and last two competitive outings for England, Owen's double bore all the hallmarks of a striker nearing his peak again.
And, though Russia did enough to suggest they will not be easily thwarted on a plastic surface in Moscow on October 17, by which time England should have opened up a five-point cushion over Hiddink's men by beating Estonia on home soil, with Owen around, Wayne Rooney back and Frank Lampard, Owen Hargreaves and David Beckham available, McClaren has every reason to be optimistic.
Despite lamely hinting at changes, McClaren surprised no-one by sticking with the side which turned in such a convincing display in the weekend win over Israel.
He sent them out with two challenges; get right into Russia's faces and prove it was possible to reach the highest standards two games in succession. By the time Swedish referee Martin Hansson brought the opening period to an end the response had been delivered in the most positive manner possible.
The more hard-to-please England fans grumbled on Saturday that the opposition was not up to scratch. There could be no such complaint, excuse or 'ah but' clause this time around.
Against a side coached by the legendary Hiddink, who had conceded just once in eight qualifying games prior to kick-off, England attacked with verve, vitality and vision.
Had they been four in front at the break, it would not have been an injustice to the hosts, who had heroes all around the pitch.
Barry, once again begging the question why he has been such an infrequent member of England squads down the years, Joe Cole tormenting Russia down the left, Shaun Wright-Phillips doing the same on the right.
And then there was Heskey and Owen. A model partnership in every sense and delivering when it mattered.
As always in these situations, a slice of luck is required and England got it when Hansson ruled Konstantin Zyryanov had handled just before he fired a shot on the turn past Paul Robinson.
Russia thought they had an equaliser and television replays did nothing to undermine their argument. It was definitely a borderline call and thankfully for England, the only man who mattered sided with them.
By that point Owen had scored his first and both Heskey and Wright-Phillips should have followed his lead.
Throughout his lengthy injury problems, McClaren never wavered in his belief that once Owen was restored to full fitness, England would be a different team.
The truth of those words was evident in Estonia last June when Owen made a goalscoring return to competitive combat.
He was on target again on Saturday and the finish from Barry's cross to give England their seventh-minute advantage was pure class.
John Terry attracted two Russian defenders to Barry's cross like moths to a flame, leaving Owen completely on his own.
The Newcastle striker controlled with one touch, then rifled home with a precise second.
Russia's third-choice goalkeeper Viacheslav Malafeev pulled off an excellent save to turn away Cole's deflected effort immediately after Zyryanov's 'goal' had been ruled out but within minutes he was picking the ball out of his net again.
There seemed no danger when Ferdinand punted upfield from inside his own half. But Heskey squeezed between two unsuspecting defenders and got his head to the ball with firm enough contact to send it bouncing into Owen's path.
This time there was no need to control as the Newcastle man sent his volley arrowing into the top corner.
Hiddink's response was a substitution and tactical change which was tantamount to an admission of defeat, an embarrassing situation indeed for a man who was one of the early candidates to replace Sven-Goran Eriksson and whom many would still prefer to McClaren.
Not on this evidence though. For, while Dmitry Sychev twice went close just after the break, Russia had neither the brawn nor the brain to unsettle the hosts and Ferdinand ended their miserable night by drilling home near the end.
"gus, you boyz got one hell of a beating, lol"

Life is to be ENJOYED.
That's why we are here.
To play and ENJOY the game of life.
And football is that idea in miniscule.
Don't listen to the Elite who want to brainwash you into
believing that life is pointless and hopeless and that
you can't enjoy yourself.
It's nonsense
Enjoy great sport.
Enjoy great food.
Enjoy great sex.
Enjoy great art.
Enjoy a sunrise breaking over a city.
Of course, you're dead right, if football becomes a person's life -
if it the only thing in their's life.
But, football, in it's proper context is a wonderful pastime, if
that's your thing..

Ever hear the story about the missionary who introduced competitive sport to the inhabitants of a south seas island? He set up a game of football for them all to "enjoy", at first the missionary had a hard time getting through to them the concept of winning the game, because every time one team scored a goal, that team would then allow the other team to score. This, to them, was a fair and proper way of playing. Eventually, though, the missionary succeeded in indoctrinating into them the purpose of winning.
Shortly after that the islanders were privy to the first ever incidence of murder on their previously tranquill abode.
The elite gave you sport for a reason.
Think about it.

Hi people. I would like to say a formal hello I only joined a few days ago. It is great to be here on the forum.
I'm RIGHT with you caleb, excellent posts. The rest of you, you've fallen for one of the simplest tricks in the book. 100% bread and circuses. The outcome of these games is decided beforehand (see the Madeleine thread re the FA Cup game in May in the new Wembley for a good example). There's no "plucky underdog" or any of that bollox. Big sporting events are NWO engineered brainwashing through and through.
Read Matthew Delooze on music festivals. The same applies to big sporting events. The NWO offer the event up to their masters, siphon off YOUR emotional energy and turn it into spiritual energy with which to further enslave mankind.
Not only that, there is caleb's very pertinent point about elevating competition in society. Pitch like against like, divide and rule.
You fell for it suckers. Sorry, don't mean to be rude but you've just gone and assisted in the enslavement of your fellow man. Cheers (not).

Oh, and I don't know where this "game" was held, but was it by any chance in the new Wembley stadium, under it's giant all-seeing eye, adorned as it is with Illuminati symbolism? Oh dear.....
And how many subliminal messages were implanted in your brains whilst you stared at your brainwash boxes for 90+ minutes, hmmm?
You want to feel better about yourselves? Go meditate or do a favour for a neighbour. Anything, just don't watch the f**king telly! (oh sorry, the neighbour's busy watching the footie, silly me).

What a load of crap.
Please- get a life.
Life is for living - for enjoying. The Elite want you to think this is
a 'valley of tears' - and they are all powerful.
You can meditate - AND enjoy football.
Football is like chess. 'Living' Chess. Not just about kicking a
ball around.
It's about Energy, Focus, Concentration, Self-discipline.
it'S about good, positive COMPETITION.
About pushing yourself to the limit, being able to see what
you are REALLY made of.
In those last ten minutes, when you have
given everything, can you - and your team mates play
through the pain barrier - can your mind overrid the limits
of your body?
IT's also about intelligence - know where to move and
create space -how to outwit your opponents by movement
and design. Look at Arsenal at their best. Pure Art.
As for subliminals, you may have a point there - but I bet
they're beaming more of these subliminals through the
soap opersa than sport.
We need to lighten up - and stop given the Elite so much
power.

Sport isn't just there as a means of tribal warfare or national pride. Anything done to a high standard can be enjoyable whether it be a great painting or leg spin bowling. It's not always about who is better than who.

Synergy777, we've now succeeded in insulting each other so let's call it a truce and discuss this issue intelligently. Blue blood reptile I am definately not and I have no problem with football per se, the kind you see in your local park on a Saturday or in the lower leagues, as opposed to these staged-managed, high profile, fixed spectacles held for the benefit of the NWO 'masters' in their new temples to Illuminism.
I've read your posts on here for a while and I find them knowledgable and interesting. You are so awake to the true nature of reality why are you being so closed about this issue? I would be disappointed, just because you like football and there's nothing wrong with that in itself, if you choose to jeer at me again and not discuss the issues of control and manipulation being 'played out' in front of us.
As for the ladyjane username, it is a reference to and in honour of an innocent 16 year old girl who was brutally and sadistically murdered 450 years ago by the reptilians, in the guise of the then royal family of England. I am not trying to be snooty, good grief who do you think I am?!
Joining a few more dots here, it occurs to me that this footie game against Russia coincided with a news story about Russia exploding a very big bomb and the start of a new cold war. With the Bush adminstration aching to invade Iran anything to spread propaganda about one of Iran's biggest allies is surely going to help the Neo con agenda. Is it just a coincidence England played Russia at football on the same day?

Hi Ninja17
For more on engineered big events and how we are manipulated into offering our energy to the serpent cult, go to
http://matthew-delooze.blogspot.com/
and read Matthew's articles "The Virgin Festival" on the V festival and "You say she's a virgin?" on the Live Earth concert.
As Matthew says in his article: -
"There is nothing wrong with enjoying ourselves and I am certainly not trying to stop anyone doing so, nor am I suggesting that anyone is knowingly doing something wrong at festivals.
I only suggest that they step back from the hype for one minute and just think about what they are actually attending."
Seanx and others, I agree with you that football is like chess in that it involves a high degree of skill from the players. It's not called the beautiful game for nothing. I've attended Premier League matches and marvelled at the skill of the players. But that's not the point I am trying to make here. Of course enjoying ourselves is ok, in fact it we are here to be joyous, happy Beings of Light. What I was trying to point out is that we are being exploited because events and festivals that should be celebrations of mankind's artistic abilities have been hijacked by unseen, dark forces.
Having said that, I would still advise anyone to throw their telly away.

they arrange the dates for football matches in thing called a draw, done many months before a bomb test.
personally i know enough not to see any intervening creator, or some think positive we are gods panacea, actually doing anything. what we need is action, what we will get is inaction, fear and tyranncial masses, who despite their best efforts will be enslaved pretty easily.
really there is a very small chance of liberation, its time to stop being optimistic/pessimistic and be realistic. realistic, people are animals, serfs, and happy being that, made for that, content like a pig in mud.
barring a miracle, we really are quite fucked, to be frank. thats doesn't mean giving up, but just fighting to whatever end. better to die on your feet than live on your knees. i know deep down we will not live/win, but you have two choices, join them for an easy ride and live like slaves until you die. or fight till the end and escape this dimension/lesser reality.
there is no messiah, no lovey dovey big dad in the sky, no guardian angels, thats all fantasy/sci fi. what there is an energy/cause, which with mental/spiritual devlopment can access, unlock abilities but thats it.

Yes, I can agree with you on that point. People should always
try to watch the games -live - to be there and not depend on the
TV courage.
But, in most cases that's not possible, esp. if you're an Arsenal,
or MAN U. fan.
Still we need to get things in balance - and stop believing every
single thing - every single symbol is a sinister event.
As dave icke says if you don't allow them into your reality -
they can't affect you - even with their subliminals.
Enjoy life - don't wait until you're on your deathbed to realize
that the Elite were bluffing - 'Sorry, mate, we hadn't ALL that
power - we just got you to believe we had - which is the
VERY SAME THING and just as EFFECTIVE. Sorry.'

As a massive football fan myself I tend to agree a lot with what ladyjane is saying :confused:funnily enough.
where I see football being used by the ptb is in the sense of mass disstraction and polarization of people and nations.Ive noticed how the major politicians and royals throw their weight behind the big games when it suits them.Take for example the last freindly game between england and germany at wembley when a lot was made of the fact that gordon brown was attending with angela merkel at the same time we were hearing a lot about the european union in the media.
As for the actual arranging of results etc in these big events Im still not fully convinced...then again we've all heard about match fixing and betting syndicates???

Yes, I too can accept. But it's not football that is the fault - but
the sick Elite using it for their purposes.
So ladyjane is right - we should try to watch it live - ans avoid
the TV presentation of it.
But I'm sure the Elite are using it for their purposes as a distraction.
Pity.

Hi pedsi and seanx
I admit I was quite taken aback by the vitriolic response I got back to my first posts on this thread. Some peeps are very defensive about their passions, obviously! And I myself was in 'ranty' mode.... I guess I came across as 'anti-footie' which is so not the case. I still remember watching Thiery Henry for real years ago - incredible. And as for 'jumpers for goalposts' there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, we should get out in our communities more because it is community cohesion that is the enemy of the totalitarian state.
But I get suspicious of any large high-profile sporting event (footie, rugby, whatever) that gets a nation of sheeple mesmerised to their tv screens whilst they destroy any last semblence of a higher evolved state through alcohol consumption. The NWO encourage this sort of behaviour through the media circus surrounding these events. It creates massive distraction from what is really going on. Whilst people obsess about a football match the surveillance state goes marching on.
I would love to know David's take on this, he being an ex-footballer.
The Charity Shield started with pictures of that poor little McCann girl being flashed around the stadium to the tune of "don't you forget about me". Now that's sinister manipulation of people's emotions. Unwittingly everyone in that stadium gave their backing to what heinous, dispicable crime was perpetrated on her by the NWO (IMO). This is what I think is a sucking out of emotional energy by the lizards to use for their own vile ends.
I don't know where caleb's story about the missionary came from, but I do also think there is a point to be made regarding making people overly competitive, as this gives credence to a capitalist dog-eat-dog system and doesn't engender collective thinking and doing. Discuss! :)
