Hello everyone. After I researched the fraud behind dairy milk, I told my mom to begin buying Soya milk as a substitute...I had that for a while until I found information on the internet that Soy too was unhealthy...So, I went everyhwere looking for Hemp milk and never found any...Fortunately, there is a store nearby that sells Hemp seeds so I can make my own Hemp milk ^^ but in the mean time, I told her to buy Rice Milk until I get my Hemp milk operation fully underway...But, I did a little bit of internet research and I came across a page telling me that the fats in Rice Milk are bad...As most people know, there are good fats and bad fats in food and drink.
So my question is mainly this, are there any problems with Rice Milk? And tell me if there are any, thanks ;)

I don't know about health and safety issues but rice milk tastes horrible.

There is nothing wrong with the fats in rice milk except that there isn't much fat and it's not very nutritious. If you get a rice milk with no additives it is fairly healthy but tastes awful. If it tastes good it has additives such as sugar or other unhealthy items.
The heathiest and most nutritious substance you can drink is raw milk. If you can't get raw milk, drink water.

Rice milk tastes even worse in cakes. It's quite nasty. :-(
The only milk substitute that I find palatable (although it's probably unhealthy) is Alpro Soya's FRESH soya cream (in a red tub in the chiller section). It can be diluted for cooking and it's lovely in coffee.

Yeah rice milk would be very acidic, stick to hemp or almond :)

No one said the NEED it, just as they do not need any particular type of food, but raw milk is extremely healthy and extremely nutritious, so if you desire health and nutrition, you may want to drink it.

Just stick with the most pure form of cows or goats milk you can find, and don't over consume the stuff.
The other alternative like rice milk, oat milk, almond milk etc don't taste as good.

I find Blue Diamond almond milk tastes better than any other milk I've ever tried. Though once my current supply runs out I won't be buying it again since it's made from pasteurized almonds. Instead I'm gonna buy some raw almonds and make my own almond milk, not only will it be healthier I can add any other ingredients I want and make it taste SUPER good. :)

I must make my own almond milk sometime, but the almond milk I purchased for the supermarket was awfully sweet.

Just make sure you get real raw almonds, after some bogus salmonella scare the USA passed a law back in 2007 that made raw almonds illegal and they started pastuerizing all of them. It's still possible to get them raw but you have to either buy directly from the farm or from a company that imports them from elsewhere like www.livingnutz.com.
If you're in the UK you should be fine though, they aren't illegal there yet. You should also sprout the almonds before using them (soak for 12 hours in water), that will release a lot more nutrition and neutralize the enzyme inhibitors so they'll be easier to digest.

Well, the best milk for humans is of course human milk. Any forum members willing to oblige? ;)

Oat milk tastes better than ordinary milk imo. Rice milk isnt so bad but oat taste at least something and have more nutrition. Warm oat milk is really yumi yumi :)
And milk from cows isnt good for you for several reasons as most here know.

Raw milk from cows is extraordinarily healthy and very nutritious.
