I am lay-man in this field.i am asking for advice.I wish to piece together a signal generator plus an amplifier,ideally with its own long life battery/powers supply.The frequency i wish too use is 528hz otherwise known as love.Can someone please assist,i am not technology minded and am not sure where to begin.what should i buy,how are these machines connected,how to tune frequency.what level of amplification would i need for city center.any help possible please.lee

For a start you are going to need an oscillator that can transmit at that frequency. The trouble is that you cannot transmit such a low frequency by itself, you would need a carrier wave of at least 7.5khz which would then have to be modulated by the 528hz signal. Also remember that the lower the frequency the larger the aerial required, that is if you intend to use it as a radio beacon.

As for connections you will need to do some study of electronic circuits. Essentially you are going to need the oscillators for the carrier wave and the modulating frequency, a hybrid mixer thingy to combine the signal, and amplifer, perhaps some filtering to keep the signal clean, an antenna.

Why do you want to do this? Is this for your own personal usage or are you attempting to mass hypnotize. If this is for the latter, how can one be convinced that you intend to use your intended frequency and not one that will cause destruction.

Sorry if I sound skeptical, but I have my own concerns.

If you want to 'address the public'
with a 528hz frequency tone...

Why not simply use (rent) an adequately large
P.A. (public address) system that would amplify
the tone to an appropriately loud level...?

The 528hz tone can be generated by simple
(cheap or free online) software or even more
simply downloaded (or 'ripped') from several
sites online, including many youtube videos...;)
