POLICE are spending thousands of pounds to hire leggy models to take photos of Christmas revellers - in a bid to stop drink driving.
Despite a budget deficit of £16million, Strathclyde Police are shelling out £3000 for models from Pix Angels to help crack down on crime. . . . . . .
The girls will take Polaroids of revellers and upload them on to sites such as Bebo and Facebook.Cops will accompany the angels round boozers on two nights, adding to the cost. It's part of a stunt to encourage people on Christmas nights out to stay safe by showing how revellers have a good time without taking risks. One cop said: "Just last week the Pitt Street canteen was closed, a lot of staff are about to lose their jobs and there is a black hole of debt."Yet thousands of pounds will be wasted paying pretty dolly birds to take pictures of drunk punters."

Hey, that's not right. What happened to ones right to have a discrete office flirtation at the Christmas piss up and after party without fear of photos ending up on the web?!

Whatever happened to our personal rights and freedoms?
