This isn't getting at anybody and l hope Linda is RIP. However, I can't help but see the irony in the fact that her veggie food company has the tagline, 'good for you'. With all due respect it didn't seem to do her much good. It's basically a diet of soya (the crap processed form of soya) and wheat (which many alternative experts suggest is pro-inflamattory). A veggie diet can be healthy or unhealthy, just like a meat containing diet. These celebs would be much better trying to promote real, healthy, humane, grass fed meat, rather than crappy veggie food. But then, maybe that's his goal.

I raise, kill and butcher around 60% of all the meat I eat (Hunting adds another 5 or so % to that total) and not only is it cheaper and healthier than either store bought meat or restaurant meat - But it tastes a hell of alot better.

We sell extra produce (my wife and I) at the Farmers market- s do many of our friends. The bestt produce comes from a farmers market (at least here)

Also, if your town has a Farmers Co- Op. Get involved. We trade Produce, all Homegrown through a co-op and get some of the most amazing stuff youve ever seen.

If someone from , say, california came hee (they shop in "organic" shops) they would be amazed that we are about 1/5 of the price they pay (Kentucky Produce makes its way to those "posh" groceries in Cali) and the quality is the same- Or better..... Shopping "organic" just kills your wallet- We are selling the SAME stuff at Farmers markets across the land for much cheaper (we just sell from the backs of Pickup Trucks and dont offer "Mints" lol)

We decide who grows what before growing season (no Government Intervention- Just people making deals) and split when the harvest comes in- For instance, This year we did Sweet Corn and Idaho Russet Potatoes but have been getting an allotment of Onions, Peppers, Redskins, Zucchini,- God, you name it- were getting it. When our early Corn Came, we divvied it up with the people in our co-op and were getting ready to divvy the Late Corn and Potatoes.... Its a really , really good system and fortunatly everyone in opur co-op are good , good people.... We kinda feed each other. =P

I do not like Paul McCartney, and he is an illuminati tool but I do agree with eating less meat or preferably no meat, it is just a massive waste of resources, it isn't a true natrual food for humans especially if is farmed, wild meat ok, if it is farmed it takes 25 pounds of grain to produce one pound of animal protein, what a waste.

I feel and am much healthier being mostly raw vegan, than eating animal products, most people feel better for reducing them anyway and most people eat far too much shit.

Funny this post came up cause I was just thinking of 'Macca' recently.

Put it like this I was one of his biggest fans up until very recently. Then when I actually
stood back and looked at it I seen a person full of hypocrisy and very very mean .....

Look at it like this - playing Live 8 a few years ago? I mean with the ridiculous amount of
money this man has he could probably feed the whole of Africa for a year!

Plus just look at this year alone (and remember we are in a Recession!) :

- The Beatles Remasters came out - yeah great but hold on instead of putting the
stereo and mono versions of one album on one disc (very possible cuase most of the Beatles
albums are about 30 minutes long) he goes and put out 2 different boxes - one for stereo and
one for mono. I paid something in the region of 500 euros altogether for these (I know sucker!)

- The new Beatles Wii/XBox/Playstation Rock Band Game - Besides needing one of the players to play it,
you then have to fork out (approx 49.99) for the game - and (250 euros) for the specialised band instruments
to play the game). Didnt get this and no way i'm going to.

- Concert in Ireland and UK in December - This man with all the money he had and then charges OTT prices
for concert tickets - starting at 156 euros - is just madness. No way I was/am going to pay that price .... why charge that
much? He doesn't need the money Surely its in his power to lower the ticket prices?

- Finally, just incase he hasn't had enough money made for the year he comes out and releases a 'DOUBLE'
live album last week. Costs at least 20 euros. I mean like he has at least 3-4 live albums out there already.

So basically from the above you will see that Money-Bags McCartney now can go take a jump.

Don't get me wrong I still love the music but he is probably part of the reason what is wrong with this planet.

The main point is when you get down to the nitty gritty he cares not for you and me but just for Paul McCartney and keeping the ego hugely inflated.
He is so out of touch with the real world something I experienced back I think in 1997 when he did one of his HMV Oxford Street signing sessions.
Basically what the situation was that there were 500 wristbands available on a first come first served basis that were in number order for a queuing.
People travelled from all over the world and many camped out over night 2 nights before to get the wristband, some people managed to get a wristband the day before of which I was one.
Ok so HMV representatives say it`s not guaranteed that McCartney will sign all 500 but very likely. Ok seems fair enough.
Of course one of the rules was you had to buy from the store one of his 2 then recently released CD albums, one of which was a classical album that he`d written.
It was a cold day and luckily about 250 of us with the wristbands were inside the shop in an orderly queue and we eventually saw McCartney arrive and he sat behind a table on the ground floor.
You were officially only allowed one autograph and we all noticed that the queue was moving very very slowly. The main reason was that McCartney would keep stopping and have paparazzi pictures taken. There was a group of females near him that appeared to know him and he them but I can`t be sure if he did know them, but as i said every now and then he would get a picture taken and as memory serves it was with one of these females.
I think I was something like N0 245 in the queue, there were some young Hungarian girls ahead of me who had made a special 3 day trip to meet Macca.
By my calculations about 1 hour into the signings passed and McCartney stood up and said something along the lines if not exactly,
"Sorry folks this is going to take all day"
So he stopped and was escorted out of the back door.
One of the young Hungarians (18 years) started to cry, people behind me became angry at Macca`s arrogance etc and CD`s, vinyl albums were thrown around the shop in anger by about 6 people.

To whole episode proved to me that the man is out of touch and cares not for anything but his ego. He was (not suprisingly) protected by the mass media when none of what I mentioned was reported, indeed I phoned the Daily Mirror the next day and they said we are only interested in today`s news, that was yesterday. Well they obviously weren`t interested in reporting his treatment of the fans on the actual day were they?

Maybe he learned something in recent years when he did a signing because he stayed 3 hours but was upstairs at the record store, so I don`t know if he took many breaks.

What I do know is that in a cafe nearby where there was about a dozen journalists with their laptops I managed to hear the fact that McCartney had told the press when he would finish, yet when I told people in the queue way behind me they didn`t believe me. No one from the record store told anyone that McCartney would finish at the time he told the press, and hell it was freezing that day, people had queued for hours beforehand and many made to wait not knowing that Macca couldn`t give a damn about them and would be gone at a certain pre-determined time.

This isn't getting at anybody and l hope Linda is RIP. However, I can't help but see the irony in the fact that her veggie food company has the tagline, 'good for you'. With all due respect it didn't seem to do her much good. It's basically a diet of soya (the crap processed form of soya) and wheat (which many alternative experts suggest is pro-inflamattory). People do change over the years though. Noses never stop growing. Faces sag and stress lines, smoking and diet can and does make the face look older or puffed out. People do change over the years though. Noses never stop growing. Faces sag and stress lines, smoking and diet can and does make the face look older or puffed out. As for standards, only free range and organic where possible. Fuck cheap meat. Meat should be far more expensive. They are now saying all this cattle are farting ect causing 18% of emissions, if thats correct then out off all life on earth 18% is made up of cattle, id like to know how reducing cattle will decrease global warming its the same as saying reduce life on earth to save the earth or am i missing something here.

It requires much more energy to produce meat than vegetables. More oil! That's the key. The politicians are trying to tackle a global decline in oil production. The problem is that they use climate change as a smokescreen for trying to reduce carbon emission (read: oil consumption).

I don't buy the methane argument either. However, I can see how deforestation for large cattle farms might not be the greatest idea. Generally though I get pretty sick when you walk into any of the supermarkets and see a Chicken for 3.99. I only buy free range Chicken and it may cost two or even three times the price but fuck it actually tastes of chicken and you can get several meals out of a Chicken which is stunning value.

I keep chickens and I have in the past killed them to eat. What really pisses me off is certain family members who accuse me of being crawl when it is they who buy the cheap chicken I mentioned. Fuck them! Ban cheap meat!

Exactly. Look at the conflicts in the world. Follow the oil. China is desperately sweeping the world for oil. Asian pipelines have been planned through Afghanistan. Big straws that will suck the precious oil into Asia away from the western countries. Pakistan is also a potential passage for pipelines to Asia. Venezuela and oil-producing nations in Africa are also something to keep an eye on in the near future.

If people had to grow the soy beans and process them to make their veggie burgers they wouldn't do that either. Nor could they do it. Most people actually could kill a chicken if they had to, but they couldn't grow and process soy beans. which is much more difficult.
