Id like to know if anyone here has ever seen anything like a Ghost/Demon/Spectre or something that they could not identify that scared them.

Here is a short story of mine, I dont accutly believe that this was paranormal (although I did at the time), It was much more likley sleep paralysis.

I woke up after a very vivid and bizare dream, when I looked around the room my eyes caught something in my bedroom doorway, to my disbelief there was a Man SPINNING AROUND in the doorway. My heart rate began to race and I tried to move but couldnt, "The Man" then began to walk towards my bed which realy freaked my out.
As The Man closed in on me I managed to move slightly and in that instant The Man and my Paralysis disappeared in a flash, i have since learnd that this is a typical episode of sleep paralysis.

Does anyone have any similar experiences?.

Hi analog,

I've never seen anything I can't explain rationally when awake, but I did however have a remarkably strange encounter once.

I had been sleeping for a few hours, though noticing I was becoming increasingly warm I began to stir. It can only be described as a state of 'half sleep', I was very hot - sweating in fact, I tossed and turned to try and get comfortable but all I could feel was pressure all over my body. It was weird and I'm struggling to find the words to explain.

Anyway, in the aforementioned state of 'half sleep', in which I was very uncomfortable my attention was drawn to the other side of the room.

I saw a young girl, perhaps eight or nine years of age looking at me cautiously and after a short moment of silence she said in the sweetest of voices: "Hello."

After that my mind went into a blur and the next thing I know she was next to me, not too close, a few feet away from my bed. Alongside her was a male now, who I assumed to be her father and he must have said: "Come on now, let's go," or something similar, because after he said that they disappeared.

I returned instantly back to sleep, told my girlfriend about it when I woke up, along with Google'ing it.

I believe this was a dream, but nevertheless it was frightening enough that I felt the urge to contribute to your thread with it as it seems to be a similar experience to your own.
