ahhh DAMN IT!

Just came home from "black friday " shopping in the states, and about 8:00 tonight out of nowhere I was hit with the most unbelievable whole body spasms and loud teeth chattering. Becaause I have a chronic illness, my spouse and I were both, "Okay, what the hell is this??". To compliate matters we lost our health insurance, soooo...
It got so bad my husband blasted a space heater and put a heating pad on high underneath me. It wasn't even fazing me so he made a scalding hot drink and heated large blankets towrap around me. Also, my eyes look plain freaky. Brilliant red and watery. Can hardly walk.
So here goes....has anyone been DX with h1n1 and exhibited these symptoms?

I really can't offer any suggestions, but, I hope you get well. You're too important to be suffering like this. Stay strong.

Your healthcare system should not be turning its back on you when you need help. Perhaps you could consider moving to a country that has free healthcare? Canada and France come to mind.

THIS IS HOW IT ALL TURNED OUT...
Woke up at 1;30 am and had a temp of 102.3. My hubby could tell i was on fire and wanted to medicate me, but I had read in the past to let an illness "burn" through you and tried it. Apparently I became pretty amusing during the night because he said I sang "Happy Birthday to you" almost continuously or hummed it. Also stated that I kept repeating "A quart is 2.6! 26! And if he interrupted me I would say "Be Still!" Which I normally wouldn't do.
Got up in the morning with a temp of 99.8 and absolutely NO memory of
the night. and feel pretty good now! I believe the vitamin D and allowing the fever made all the difference!
