The Rann Government has been trying to shut down the bikies in SA. This is their latest attempt to curtail legal freedom of people here. Today a series of country pubs have had their licence to trade suspended in case the bikies go in there. Interestingly they have not done the same for the service stations and the food outlets.
The Freedom of Association law makes it illegal to do business with them or associate on any level more than a prescribed number of times per year.

POLICE have shut down three small-town pubs and suspended their liquor licences ahead of a bikie protest run that promised to be the pubs' busiest day of the year.
Up to 500 riders will depart Whitmore Sq at midday for McLaren Vale to raise funds to fight the State Government's High Court appeal for its anti-association laws.
Police successfully argued the Macclesfield Hotel, Macclesfield Three Brothers Arms Hotel and McLaren Vale Hotel could not cater for the expected crowd. Edwardstown's Maid of Auckland had its trading suspended but later decided to drop out.
Vote now: Is this a case of police over-reaction?
The Seaford Hotel replaced the Maid of Auckland late yesterday. It is not known whether it faces a trading ban.
The Macclesfield Hotel unsuccessfully challenged the trading ban with the Office of the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner.
United Motorcycle Council committee member Tom Mackie said he was disappointed businesses would miss out on the financial boost.
"We will still go for our ride and we can still show our cause," he said.
"Really, there is no need for this over-the-top policing because there has never been any trouble in previous runs when we have all been together."
Police Commissioner Mal Hyde said planning for the run was "still proceeding".
