All of this robot imagery seems to harken back to the motion picture "Metropolis". Others on here are far more knowledgable on this subject than me. But my assessment is that its a visual analogy for submission and mind control.

rofl. you remind me of something. i used to work once for a gossip website and i had to rebuild my music knowledge, i mean work for the latest gossip shit. and i came up to rihanna and i thought wtf , who is that, why are they writing about this girl and i had to watch her music videos and stuff and i thought omg where has the music gone lol. they were writing about make up and clothes and stuff, nothing really about music. it was a mess. after six weeks i quit my job. i couldnt stand it to write about those people who have nothing special in their art work nor i was interested in their make up faces. i tried it but i failed lol.

and they used to write about zac afron at that time and i was researching something and i came up with this guy. told me nothing when i saw him and i stood there with all my collegues and asked loud: who is zac afron? they looked at me and i dont know were nearly laughing. someone explained me and oh fuck ive asked myself who the hell told me to do this job.... ^^ you know i stopped watching hype movies and hype video clips since 2001 or so. when MTV became german i stopped all of this because i felt so and since i am here i am fully into this and know all the names but with a different conciousness. If i ever will continue to do a job on a gossip website, i will find the best gossip stories because they earned it ^^

but rihanna represents the depressive part of youth. and well i hope she becomes more human and well she is black... lets see what comes next. some stars break out one day.
