View Full Version : Lucid dreamers - solve my goblin problem

Now that I can have lucid dreams most nights I'm starting to notice random creatures. For example last night I was Lucid in my room. All was fairly normal (apart from the two hunnies in my bed):D, but there was just a goblin like creature sitting on my wardrobe watching, but minding his own business. I didn't feel threatened.

A few weeks before that there was a purple mythical snake/snail creature sitting up there. Although in this dream a friend killed the thing.

Now I often have the sleep paralysis accompanied by the fury creature. Whereby you get the sensation that a creature is sitting on you, rather than just feeling like you can't move. Is this related? Is there actually some goblin in my room lol? :D

A couple nights ago I was lying on my front, I felt it literally grab between my arm pits and pull me out of my body. This was the first time I've been lucid in my immediate surroundings and could actually see myself sleeping. Trouble was, I couldn't do much because of its tight grip. I half knew that it was in my mind, but couldn't shake the feeling of being held. I ended up falling in to my wardrobe and zapping back in to my body.

It sounds funny but it is literally this creature, albeit dark furred, not blue:

Any comments from the more experienced?

Nice nocturnal adventures you're having there, bd.

I think the ultimate goal of lucid dreaming is to realise that everything you're experiencing is an illusion, created by your own mind.

Once you can awaken in your own dream with that realisation, not even the sky's the limit, and when I've overcome all traces of fear for monsters with the light of that awareness, it usually then takes me soaring directly into powerful states of spiritual bliss and understanding.

In other words, all the details you experience in lucid dreams can be very interesting in their own right, but if you can manage to trigger that rememberance that the whole thing you're in doesn't even exist :D , then the really fascinating journeys tend to kick off.
