£6m government ad warning about climate change is to be investigated by watchdogs over claims it is misleading and too "scary" for children.
The government has already been prevented from screening the ad during children's programmes.

But the ASA has still received complaints from parents saying it is too frightening, although most complainants questioned the scientific basis of the claim that climate change is man-made.

An ASA spokeswoman said: "It is not just about the issue of climate change in this particular case. We have had a huge number of complaints about the science but also whether the ad itself is scary for children."

She said the watchdog would be investigating whether the claims about climate change could be substantiated and whether the ad complied with taste and decency rules.

But because of the complex issues involved the probe is likely to take longer than normal, she added.

The Advertising Standards Authority has received 1000's complaints about the Department of Energy and Climate Change's "bedtime stories" ad

About time the ASA was forced to take action on the blatant propaganda that's shovelled down our throats everyday.

"Government Climate Ad Faces Investigation" -

AND SO IT SHOULD. This kind of fearmongering is disgraceful but about what we should expect from those who wish to control the planet and everything in, on, over and under it.

A friend of mine is a teaching assistant and told me that in the light of ads like this atrocious one he's been asked questions from 5 year olds like:

"will my dog die from global warming"???

Nuff said.

I'm so sick of those bullshit videos. They're now telling us not to drive as it's killing the planet. They also over rate the role cars play in CO2 emisions. Not as much compared to agrigculture, power plants and deforestation. Plus we're only using what we're being given. It's like giving us stones to hunt animals and complaining how we are at catching our own food and we should all become vegetarian. All the money for this bullshit advertising could be much better spent trying to find ways to produce cleaner energy. But of course that would be too productive.

The politicians would be better off putting their hands up and coming over to us, because when they're arrested the Elites will not save them, all the likes of Blair, Brown, Obama, etc, will just take all the flack. They're acting like the armour of the Elites and that armour is looking very battered right now.

If they confessed their crimes to the people now, maybe we might still forgive their treachery, who knows?
