Most people know they need air to breath, water to drink, a roof for shelter and clothing to protect from the elements. When you talk of the things we don't need are you referring to things that are not on that list or the things on that list in too great measure?
I get the feeling you are describing the human tendancy towards excess not the human innability to recognize the bare minimum required to subsist. Is that it?

Blind by education system?

This is exactly what is happening in Canada. Do your 40 hours! You better get this course. What is self-esteem (seriously that words makes people worry.)? Don't go out, stay in. Children needs education, so lets force them to go to school instead of home teach(because we are busy working.). I once wanted to be a cop because I already know the skills, but instead I have to go through a bunch of stupid requirements(such retarded stuff, BS stuff.)

You have no problem with the idea of enforcing unjust laws? Ruining lives for the love of prohibitions that make no sense at all. Victimless crimes and such?
You don't mind earning a living kidnapping kids from happy homes simply because the parents wanted to give their kids a better education, create a better society?

If I have kids, I will teach them at home. I learned more from life, books, and my parents, than any school or uni ever taught me.
