Do you know what this is?

Hello i was on a job a few weeks ago, i was standing having a (ciggie) when i noticed this just in front of me in the grass.

First thoughts were it's a rat or a mouse (see the front legs) and it's been an owls dinner, but mice and rats dont have a skull like that!

I put my lighter in the pics to give a idea of the size.

I think the redish thing sticking out on the left is a tail bone theres some fur still on it.

I thought possably a bird but birds dont have front legs like that i would like to find out what kind of animal it is (well was) due to the shape of the skull.

Im sure someone will know.

Tip of the skull looks a bit diffrent but looks like a squirrel, exspecially with the long tail bone with the bit of fur on it.

It is a long dead baby chipmunk,infant squirrels don't have much tail hair and by the time they do they are bigger than a lighter so it is a slim jim chipmunk.
