Sad news! :(
But to be truthful I was wondering who 'famous' would die this week to put the dampers on the September 11 energy event.....and as part of the 9/11 annual mourning ritual.
In the past in the first week of September we've had Diana, Steve Irwin, Peter Brock (Australian celebrity), Mother Teresa....and there are others I'm sure you can think of. Often two deaths at a time. Diana-Mother Teresa one year and last year Steve Irwin and Peter Brock.
The PTBs seem to like the whole world in morning during the first 2 weeks of September every year.....very often surrounding full-moons, eclipses etc and lest we forget hurricane Katrina which struck Sept 4th 2005.

Yeah. I don't know if they've found Steve Fossett yet.

I've always had my suspicions and this may be far fetched, that Richard Branson is possibly one of if not THE most powerful men in the world... he's silent. Only ever comes into the media when he's going into space or flying across water in a car.
Also, did you know that Steve Fosset has gone missing over the Nevada Desert? Isn't that where Area 51 is...?
A slight mis-calculation (or not!) over there would surely guarantee your disappearance...

Major changes on a personal level always happen in September too though. It's always been an interesting month for me personally and most of the people i know.
Synchronicity is a wonderful thing...

Dont think there is any conspiracy regarding Pavoritti's death. However, much more an an issue may be Steve Fossett, because as you say his ties are a lillte more dubious. I always find the fake smile and fake emotive voice of RB very similar to a certain Mr Blair, funny that.

He had cancer, was 71 and was ill for a long time. Hardly think that amounts to a conspiracy! There are only 12 months in a year. Considering the world has millions of celebs there's not really a lot of months for them to die in if you are going to link them to world events.

Humanitarian work
Pavarotti annually hosted the "Pavarotti and Friends" charity concerts in his home town of Modena in Italy, joining with singers from all parts of the music industry to raise money for several worthy UN causes. Concerts were held for War Child, and victims of war and civil unrest in Bosnia, Guatemala, Kosovo and Iraq. After the war in Bosnia, he financed and established the Pavarotti Music Center in the southern city of Mostar to offer Bosnia's artists the opportunity to develop their skills. For these contributions, the city of Sarajevo named him an honorary citizen in 2006.[14]
He performed at benefit concerts to raise money for victims of tragedies such as an earthquake in December 1988 that killed 25,000 people in northern Armenia.[15]
He was a close friend of Diana, Princess of Wales. They raised money for the elimination of land mines worldwide. He was invited to sing at her funeral service, but declined, as he felt he could not sing well "with his grief in his throat".
In 1998, he was appointed the United Nation's Messenger of Peace, using his fame to raise awareness of UN issues, including the Millennium Development Goals, HIV/AIDS, child rights, urban slums and poverty.[16]
In 2001, Pavarotti received the Nansen Medal from the UN High Commission for Refugees for his efforts raising money on behalf of refugees worldwide. Through benefit concerts and volunteer work, he has raised more than US$1.5 million, more than any other individual.[17]
Other awards he received for charity work include the Freedom of London Award and The RED CROSS Award for Services to Humanity, for his work in raising money for that organization, and the 1998 MusiCares Person Of The Year, given to humanitarian heroes by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. [18][19]

Well almost anything. Not saying it IS a conspiracy
either, just putting some thoughts into words. Take it
or leave it.
But lets not make light of this man's death. He weill be
greatly missed and its a sad day for the music world to
lose such a massive talent as this great man.
RIP Luciano Pavrotti, the man who made opera pop music.:(
Worse - his signature tune 'Nessun Dorma' was made the bloody footie world cup anthem. So, we got all the piss-heads turning out of the pubs around here murdering the song. For me, it lost its wonder when populism hijacked it, & you heard it every sodding where.....you couldn't/can't escape it.
Shame.
Yes, I'm a music purist & hate it when good songs are hijacked & fed to the music illiterate via the TV, to try & popularise them. I'm all for 'music for everyone', -for when people are ready to try opera, ect, then thats great, but not force fed, pleeeese!
RIP, great man.

Et al.....don't hate it, but I can't see the link between that tune & 'the game'. My beef being that you heard it everywhere that footie was mentioned. Like a lot of things today, it was done to death.
And another thing - mention Pavarotti & you hear the song Nessun Dorma,- as if its the only aria he's ever sung. It wasn't one of his favourites, & he's credited with a fantastic repetoire that includes finer arias better sung than that one.

Maybe not the greatest subject matter for a song, but the tone of his voice brings me to tears. Look at the love in his eyes when he sings. This man was living his dream, his heaven. It resonates in his voice.

And it all somehow rings a bell, to me
They both died to cancer - Cancer is still a mystery to (so-called) 'science' - Yet, more and more people are dying of cancer -
Cancer starts in the cells
And cells are influenced by the DNA...
And... DNA is what connects us (or would do so) to the Matrix!
I think the Matrix is trying to fight our awakening!

He lived to be 71! So much for the conventinal health theories. These days you're called obese if you can walk safely along the street without your arms spread out; you know, so you don't fall down gratings!
It reminds me of Bill Hicks: "Hi, I'm Jim Fix and I'm dead now!... And I don't know what the fuck happened!"

Nina myschow is totally unpleasant, so is that jade goody.
But Pete Docherty was photographed forcing crack to his poor cat!
What baffles me about Pavarotti is that a huge man was still healthy at 70.
Didn't like the way Prince Charles muscled in on the tributes.
