Red Elk and David Icke should meet. Seriously.

Cost to Coast am interviews (.zip/.mp3):

2005 (http://tobop.com.au/TDownloads/10-2005c2c.zip)
2002 - 1 (http://tobop.com.au/TDownloads/22-02c2c.zip)
2002 -2 (http://tobop.com.au/TDownloads/28-02c2c.zip)

Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Red+Elk&search_type=)

He talks about so many things. Apparently he's a member of the Hopi Indians and the Black Feet amongst others.
He claims he meets reptilians on a casual basis and how almost everyone on Earth is is mixture of all sorts of creatures.
He is not a 2012 doomsday preacher. He believes that the future I what the people make it.
He has also been to 'Mel's Hole' and he says it was a drilling by Lucifer, and describes a few 'entities' - Humans, Reptilians, Greys (zetas), Sasquatch, Gargoyles, Thunderbirds and the Bird people.

In his DVD (audio on youtube) he speaks about chem-trails and other warnings for the future, but much about reptilians etc.

I'm still not quite sure of what to make of him... But so far most of the things he says, match up with other researchers information. For instance, in Illuminati 2: The Antichrist Conspiracy by Chris Everand - There's a section on the Kaballah and how priests were trying to master the ability to create matter, just by speaking words. Red Elk says anyone can do that with the right knowledge.
Also claims to have been able to levitate..? Pretty odd.

Perhaps there is some truth in what he says, but in my experience very, very few (maybe no) honest tribal people set themselves up as "inter-tribal medicine men" or "shamans" and build their own little cults. There are always so many arguments and defenses from these hucksters, who never seem to be officially or unofficially recognized by any tribe, and the "sacred" teachings they offer are always suspect in that they (1) do not stay within the tribe itself as their unique, private way of knowing, or (2) if the knowledge is meant to be disseminated outside the tribe, it is attached to one teacher's ego, usually through paid seminars attended by New Age white folk, which is generally not the Indian way.

So I'm going waaaaaay out on a limb to say this guy is cobbling together stuff he's read with stuff he's made up. He is trying to claim that his teachings are "pure" because they represent an "old way" that predates specific tribal teachings, implying, I guess, that others are impure? Whatever.

But if he's so compelling, here is a website where you can buy some crystal skulls charged with Atlantean energy or something like that. For Mr. Elk is associated with the (fake) Cherokee Twisted Hair Society, which in turn is evidently involved in selling these lovely skulls: http://www.theskullwhisperers.com/index.html

Those are all very obvious points to make, but I have to concede them to you.

The thing about being a shaman or medicine man is that there is no way to be official. If you do actual healing or consultation in any form you can call yourself a practicing shaman or medicine man.

There are alot of people keeping lore of their tribes and calling themself shamans - so be it. At least they have stories to tell and things to talk about, as Red Elk has somehow managed to make a name for himself doing. I doubt it provides him a living though.

Besides red there are alot of elders worth listening to.

Yes, thank you for posting that. Philip Deere was a great person. I agree the things I said were obvious, but then again, after so many years, the fakers do not seem to go away, do they? It's unfortunate, as they distract people from the real issues, past and present, of our first peoples.
