Global deforestation sharply accelerated around 1852. It has been estimated that about half of the earth's mature tropical forests — between 7.5 million and 8 million km2 (2.9 million to 3 million sq mi) of the original 15 million to 16 million km2 (5.8 million to 6.2 million sq mi) that until 1947 covered the planet — have now been cleared.
And they wonder why there is global warming!

Planting more trees is always great and we should be looking after the planet regardless of any situation.
It has nothing to do with Global Warming though.
The whole Solor System is changing, not just earth.
Global Warming or Climate Change as they now call it is a total scam and based on lies and deceit and carefully constructed evidence to avoid the obvious truths to put more taxes and fear on Humans and more money and power into the pockets of the elite.
Al Gore = Liar and never to be trusted. He stands to become even richer with this scam while the poor get poorer and further enslaved by the Elite.
Lets look after the planet yes but lets not be scammed by these idiots.
i agree with lobuk glbal warming is a scam to keep us in toil and taxes> its the changes to the sun that is causing the climate to change>
however i fully agree with the op we should all try and plant at least two trees each in our life time< this would really help to clean the atmoshpere

I have a healer friend who has been looking at conspiracies for many decades.
He has around 2tb of info and documents and video's from generations of conspiracies. Some of this stuff has been lost and it's only people like him who will have access to this.
Anyway, around mid 90's a guy came out about a few things, whistle blowing, and apparently in one documentary he actually produces a document which was proposing the ecological route to be the way for tptb to move forward.
Then look what happens, global warming, that didn't work...now it's CLIMATE CHANGE FFS
