Seriously, this war has been going on for a long long time. Aaron Russo described it as a war with no real enemy so you can never win it. He is absolutely right. One of my friends said that the war will be over when the "terrorists" stop fighting back and are all killed. But if people are defending themselves in Afganistan, or at least trying to, the fighting will not stop.

When do you think this war will end? I myself believe that it will end when the Americans literally cannot afford to keep the troops there. More specifically when their whole empire comes at an absolute crash, they won't have much of a choice but to stop this whole charade.

Its not ending any time soon.

Your friend is wrong lol the 'terrorists' he mentioned are actually people just protecting their country from the invasion of superior forces from the west.

Reasons to keep this war going. Iraq and Afghanistan.

-Oil
-Advancement of their agenda, taking control of the middle east
-It keeps the westerners in fear, easier to control

Plus, the Americans wont run out of money, neither will Britain, because their being financed/controlled by the elite, and their not gonna run out of money anytime soon.
US/UK are just the elite's vehicles for world domination.

Many people, including myself believe WW3 is next, i dont know when but i can see it happening. As David Icke says, the excuse will be either China, or the Muslim world, or both.

Then, after the world has been ravaged by another war and most of the population has been wiped out, the 'World Government' can be introduced as the solution. Its Problem-Reaction-Solution, thats all it is.

The worst hasn't even begun. The people of this world are going to see suffering like they've never seen before. God warned that if He had not cut the time shorter, then mankind would have completely annihilated himself. But for the sake of His people, God will cut the time short.

Honestly, the only way it is going to end is if you decide to stop paying attention to it and stop caring and focusing your attention on it. Unfortunately, war is not going to end anytime soon. Iraq or Afghanistan will become other countries, but people will continue to kill each other over land and resources and other stupid things. We can't control it, but we can control ourselves. I chose to stop focusing and giving a shit about war. My life is peaceful. The only time I'm aware that war exists is when I choose to watch the news or someone else talks about it or I see it on the internet, etc.

Hardly runciter, you can have the belief that paying no thought to wars we eventually end them. We pay so much ritual homage to the men who fought wars, young and old and today that energy is what pushes us through until the next stage of annihilation where a new war will create the necessary energies to move the agenda forward. Just because you beliefs push towards the new age concept does not mean that we are part of the Zionist militia.

Nah, I simply decided the only thing I can change in life is myself and would stop paying attention to all the violence and corruption and destruction, etc. everyone else wants to participate in. It's much less stressful and I'm happier. I don't want to participate in that game anymore. "Which side are you on," "Who's right, who's wrong?" Don't care. :)

What's most important is I am true to myself. It is too stressful for me to try and emotionally get involved in things I can not change. I can't control others. No matter how much I want a world of peace and happiness, I can't force people to feel peaceful and happy if they don't want to. It's very simple to me. I have no debt to mankind. My debt is to myself and trying to grow as an eternal spiritual being.

we are in a relatively privileged position, and there are some practical problems to solve.

millions (billions?) of humans can't live a decent life, because our system is based on iniquity.

you refuse to recognize this problem as yours, is it because you see them as animals in human form?

I wouldn't accept responsibility for other people no matter what. It's hard enough to figure out how I'm supposed to develop myself and become a better person. It's too stressful for me to worry and feel pain for people I have never met or will never meet, much less people in my family or own life. People are on their own paths. It's not for me to try to change.

All I will say about the minion thing is - I'm not sure what I believe yet about it so will refrain from comment. What I am pretty certain of, though, the "people" who murder, rape, and abuse children... I refuse to believe they have souls. I will not accept that a higher self or eternal being would EVER choose an experience like that. There is no benefit from murder, rape, and abusing children. So yeah, those people are animals. I believe that. I don't know what I believe in regards to any other expansion of the minion theory. I will wait to form an opinion when I have more information.

I don't care about changing the system anymore. I feel no obligation to change anything except myself. And of course, I will try to shape and mold my daughter into as much of a decent, intelligent, and spiritually awake person as much as possible. After she gets older, the choice is hers, and my influence won't be as important.

I don't understand what is so offensive to you about my point of view. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree. Why should I take responsibility for anyone but myself (and my daughter since she's only a year old)? I only agreed to come here to experience all the shit and joy for myself, not for the entire world. I've felt great pain for the wounded and lonely and weak and innocent before and I choose now to not take that pain and emotion. And no one will guilt me into doing it ever again. :)

If bad people benefit, that is not my fault. You're starting to come across as a bully. You just can't seem to accept there are good people out there who simply choose to be pacifists and don't want to join or start some great rally or revolution.

Pointing out reality is not the same as being a bully - unless one is afraid of reality.

It is not necessary to be an advocate of 'revolution' in order to care about what is happening in the world. You just have to make a decision not to put your head in the sand. There is no-one making anyone feel guilty. Either people care or they don't. The existence of your one-year old daughter is irrelevant as no-one else has mentioned it.

I think that war (as we know it anyway), literally ENDS the day we collectively refuse to recognise THEIR money as OUR currency. It would be pretty hard to pay for the logistics, weapons, intelligence, soldiers wages etc, without our financial complicity into the international banking system. Seriously, what are they going to do? turn the weapons on us and annihilate us all to get us to spend again? wont work if theres no one left to earn and spend. As long as we're paying, they'll keep playing.

Nobody wins at war unless you can raise the death, heal the suffering and anguish of the broken hearted, restore the lost limbs, the health and the blessings of the people who lost so much. Make them forget it ever happened.

One can not stop a war, we didn't start.
When the fanatics stop preaching hate the war will stop.

Peace is not the absence of war. It is the absence of fear.

There is volumes of history books on the subject of warlords, gang leaders and terrorist chiefs, the people that make most of the violence happen. It's not like they could just push a button and make their bad guys go away. In many cultures, the process moves a lot more slowly and involves lots of talking, coffee, promises, deceit and drama. Some felt an end to the vengeance killings was necessary. Making this happen is the next crucial battle in any war.

Terrorism is threatening all lives by taking some.

The point of terrorism is to cause terror, sometimes to further a political agenda and sometimes out of sheer hatred. The people terrorists kill are not the targets, they are collateral damage. And blowing up planes, trains, markets or buses is not there goal, those are just tactics. The real targets of terrorism are the rest of us and the billions of us who are not killed but are terrorized because of the killing. The real point of terrorism is not the act itself, but our reaction to the act.

There is no question that we have made many mistakes in this campaign, some of them small, some of them major. Historically, I don't think there has been a single war we have participated in, either won or lost, which has not had its share of grievous errors.

If we withdraw and let them win there will be two very dangerous consequences the lesser being an emergence of terrorist attacks across the world and particularly on the US. The September 11 attacks were not provoked and there is no reason to believe that terrorists will not be eager to repeat this. The civilized world can not live with this and ultimately we will have to return and remove it. I doubt it will be easier the second time around.

The cold war, in a new version, would very likely return if we don't come out the winners in the end.

So the stakes are high but the enemy can be beaten. America was not made by people who fear risk or who are satisfied in defeat.

The fight for the soul of America has been going on since the very beginning and is far from over yet. Take heart in knowing the fact that in every great battle the forces of equality and morality have won the day but it has never been easy.

hi shellygurrrl:), i can kind of relate to what your saying here as i myself went through a similar thing after the birth of my first child some time ago. I felt that I had to turn away from the negatives in order to create a positive environment for my child. All i can say is that I learned a hard lesson, the more we try to avoid confrontation, even at the spiritual level, the more those negative energies seek us out. pacifism is a valid philosophy that i have a deep respect for, but when it becomes a barrier to protecting, speaking up for, or seeking justice for those weaker than ourselves, it becomes counter productive. I beleive that in this reality, now more than ever, we need every objective thinker we have available to stand up to those who would keep us all in constant conflict, if not for our own sake, for the sake of every child growing up in an increasingly indifferent world. please dont take this the wrong way shellygurrrl, i mean this with the greatest possible respect: DONT LET FEAR BULLY YOU INTO IGNORANCE, YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK:) Peace out.

Unfortunately, Shelly is just illustrating a mindset which most people in the western world seem to have. If they/we didn't feel so far removed from the horrible suffering our countries are directly and indirectly causing in other parts of the world, we would collectively do something about it, wouldn't we?

That's not to say her view isn't incredibly selfish and negative. It is. And it's the main reason why our 'leaders' breach international law and commit murder each day of their natural lives. I have children too, and I totally understand that ensuring their immediate environment is positive is a priority, but as children get older they should be made aware of what really is happening in the world, and who really is at fault, rather than just be allowed to be brainwashed by the state's 'education'.

Rachel, in my opinion, is nothing more than a disgusting apologist for Zionism. She uses a programme which alerts her to discussions such as this on many forums and she then, like a good little Zionist sheep, toddles by to feed us the opinion her masters have instructed her to give. She speaks about 'terrorism' and about death, as if Israel is a normal, law abiding state, rather than the brutal, appartheid regime it really is. She also believes, as her vapid religion of Zionism dictates, that Arab people are nothing less than aniamls who aren't equipped with the same capacity of reasoning and defense of their land as her Jewish friends in Israel. What is very worrying, as far as I'm concerned, is that not only do Zionists believe that such an alert programme is necessary, but they're recruiting stupid, amoral people like her to do their bidding.
