MUSE - Resistance Artwork

Anyone noticed the artwork on The Resistance by MUSE. Clear illuminati symbolism, with the pyramid and all seeing eye. Also they have released some clothing merchandise, with similar symbols.

Having known Matt Bellamy's stance on the New World Order etc, shown within his lyrics and in interviews (he has appeared on Alex Jones) why would they have this blatent symbolism on their album and clothing. Is it to prove some point, is it a protest, or what?

Long long ago, the symbolisms were used to serve people like you and me, for essentially good purposes. The knowledge was then stolen, secreted, and is now used against us by the forces of darkness. I feel the same way. From what I've read they are possitive occult symbols. Though that doesn't stop it from being good though does it? It would be like disliking Christianity because of people like Fred Phelps. Not all Christians are bad and neither are all people who use esoteric symbolism.

It would also be worth noting that the Earth is at the cap stone. What does this mean?

I interpreted the cover as an association with kundalini awakening… The man is a symbol for mankind ascending the spectrum, the path to an awakening of higher consciousness. The fracture at the bottom being the opening and activation of the first chakra (muladhara – being associated with the colour red).

Earth, being smack bang in the middle symbolises the centre chakra (heart) and peace on Earth.

OP in my opinion, if you have an interest in something as an artist you will use those interest's in your material whether it be lyrics or merchandise.

It's like me saying, because someone has an avatar of the queen they must be a reptile. Things need to be looked at closer and with clearer insight to get the real picture.

The new muse album is ace and I won't see it any other way :o:D

Don't believe the truth. The Earth represents the capstone of the pyramid and the iris in the (earth)pupil. Some of the honeycombe hexagon tiles are missing, to show that there's more to reality, than we at first perceive. The reason for the gap between the path and the earth. it's the intention behind all the symbolism that matters. symbols in themselves are powerful, but not so much as when they have energy directing/guiding/pushing it.

i'm actually surprised warner bros. (their label) didn't seem to have a problem with this album? in any case, i think it's great... matt bellamy's vocals give me goosebumps sometimes... some say it's whiny, but in that case the man can whine anytime in my ears- i'm willing to listen :D

The saying "fire with fire" has been in my psyche for ages now, i used to be unsure and a bit scared of it, but actually reversing something onto its self is totally the way of consuming it so it has no power over its subjects.

Folks are right op about the use of symbolism, plus did you see the title?? lol Ive had the album for ages and not listened to it yet, will after people saying its great but when I seen the cover and heard the title I was delighted, not enough for me to actually listen to it but heh lol, super cool artwork that just screams psychedelia/reality and a great title, will check the links.

If underground music was the mainstream then lots of folks would be aware of these things, thats not going to happen because people cant handle the hardcore! :D Society is a cult and at least their going against it and thinking for themselves, or maybe I should read those links cos their not? lol
