Is anyone else here willing to put in their own time (and money) to hire halls, outdoor theatres etc to organise free showings of documentaries to wake people up

how hard would it be to organise (getting licence etc) to throw a sheet up in a park for an outdoor screening of Zeitgiest?

hopelessy naive idea?... or the seed for a direct action revolution?

feedback on this idea would be most welcome

What we used to do is have what we called a 'Video evening' -
we put money together to buy say the David Icke - Video -
in those days - and we all got together at friend's house and
watched! We put money in a kitty to buy more Movies/Dvd's.
Doesn't have to cost a lot of money?
say 10-20 people?

Sounds like a cool idea, i'd be prepared to put in time and a lot of effort but unfortunately money is so tight at moment that i can barely afford to feed us at the moment!! :(

Ive thought about it a lot but who would come? I'd end up like DI in his early days talking to one man and his dog!!:D But hey, we gotta start somewhere huh?...

great idea although I was thinking of something bigger - like hiring a convention centre/ room off busy high street or outdoor park area - the emphasis on reaching the most people as possible

publicised through fly leaflets and internet messageboards

I'm reminded of the conspiracy exhibition on Blackpool central pier this time last year run by someone from the 911 truth uk movement -

I mentioned Zeitgeist because it contains the main points of the 911 and Fed reserve and microchipping agenda in a condensed convincing way that would appeal to the general public

:D cheers, you can't put a price on that kind of enthusiasm

I was thinking if we could do the same with Alan Watt but I know only a few on here are fans - and I know for this to work we'd have to agree on a common showcase idea

(as a Mod you could round up the members interested in it?)

Allot of us probably don't have the "talking power" that Icke and others do. Then again, why would anybody come?

Do they really want to wake up?

Dang it, this mod thang gets me in all sorts of predicaments!! LOL!! :D

well i'll defo be up for giving it a go, im not sure about Alan Watt, to be honest i know of him but tahts about as far as it goes, ive never really looked into his stuff, something put me off.....

Where though? Im on the IOW- and i only know of 1 other person on the IOW that is interested in DI/conspiracies and thats '2013', i suppose i'll have to actually admit to people im into DI etc and face the ridicule.....its rather like my 'other life'.... there's work me (dont mention DI), social me (will mention it depending on the people there) , and the real me (conspiracy whore!!!pmsl!!!) LOL!!!!

Have toyed with the idea of putting an ad in the local paper and getting a group together to discuss it or whatever.....but my conditioning stops me......

no talking involved just organisation , which we can do from anywhere no matter how far from the designated venues

hiring areas / publicity to get greatest public access - the aim being as many members of the general public as possible to watch - just getting someone to rest their feet whilst shopping on a Saturday to watch 'Zeitgeist part 3' for half an hour is all that is needed - (who's going to resist free tea and biscuits and a free film?)

I have no experience with this I was hoping someone who does could chip in

if 1000 people chip in £50 quid each what could we do with £50,000? - (i'm also not suggesting that I get involved in managing the money either btw - that job is for a trusted committee arrangement )

anyone seen the 'Battle of Kruger' on Youtube? -think of us as those Wildebeast - working together for once against odds which would be impossible to face alone

Well I've got my next public talk in mid october... and the vid of my first one has been succesful enough for Google to reset the counter! Yayy! (about 1000 views on line, with 20 attending on the day)

And Vienna, seems to me you're carrying some illusions with you

Number one, its better to show that tell. the level of activism is fairly good on this forum and the responses you've got have a lot to do with you acting on your expectations rather than bothering to check out whats already going on

Number two, there's a lot of awareness of Watt on this forum, but claims without evidence should always be challenged unless its made clear that they are claims without evidence from the beggining (otherwise known as speculative theoires). Watt gets questioned here, Icke gets questioned here, any difference between that is in your own head

There was talk of getting a Watt forum started last year, but if I recall Alan himself wasnt keen

Have you asked him if you could start one? And would you be prepared to run it if he said yes?
