I haven't watched today's epsiode yet, but Simon's two black(ish) dudes are easily the best IMO.

None of the others are particularly special next to those two. In fact, they're quite shit.

Interestingly, whenever the other judges have to praise them, they do it really begrudgingly...

mind you, i can't stand the organised and directed emotional side of xfactor,with all the numb brains saying all they've ever wanted is to sing etc. the audience sound like they're on acid or have been bussed in direct from hicksville usa. cowell is a parastie who wouldn't know a decent singer if they fell on him, all he sees is money making potential from his latest conveyor belt robot, he's a superb businesman, nothing else. kylie's freeloading sister is only there cos of her sister. cheryl cole is just annoying. the irish one seems ok, but again all he's good for is contrived manufactured boy bands going for the teeny girl dollar.

this show is proof emphatic that the corporate suits and money men have taken over mass audience music. i have no doubt whatever that the usual suspects are behind it's creation and initial funding. cowell lives in hollywood i believe, and is intimate with some of the worst creatures on the planet, people most of us on these boards wouldn't want to be in the same room with.

I didn't watch it last night, instead I took the advice of Alex Jones and got myself outside to meet the neighbours (a communial bbq:D). A great afternoon and evening had by all...and as the wine was flowing I took the opportunity to ask them their views on various things such as the swine flu vaccine, etc. :p Very interesting neighbours I have.
So...did the freaky twins get voted off?

I think Welsh Lucie is the most talented, but she looks completely out of her depth. She'd make a great folk singer as she's very pretty and has a lovely voice :)

Personality-wise I just love 'Stace'. I just laugh every time she opens her mouth. Robbie was right - every home should have one. :p
